entertainment/culture wars ping list
The device has yet to be invented that can measure just how little I care about the academy awards.
Best Supporting Actress: Josh Brolin, ‘Milk’
Mickey Rourke is crying on the 28th annual Barbara Wa-Wa special, I figured it was time for a thread.
Wow.....only Movie on this list I have seen was the Batman Dark Knight flick. And I didn’t pay to see that....
Zero Money to Hollyweird from my pocket this year ! Yeaaaaah !
OK....I guess that shows how up to date I am on Hollywood.
Who the hell is Hugh Jackman?
LOL
I can’t remember a year with so many dud movies and actors no one has ever heard of.
The viewing will be down, down, down this year.
Slumdog Best pic and director, hopefully Rourke istead of Penn as Best Actor, Winslet instead of Streep for actress, Penny Cruz for Supportting and Heath.
Not newsworthy. Bullcrap is more like it.
I’ll be watching The Amazing Race, but thanks.
I was going to post the same thing. I had to look him up. The only thing I have “heard” him in was the voice of Roddy in Flushed Away—never would have know that though.
thanks for thread!
I love cinema & will no doubt NOT hang here as they nay sayers ruin it for me
why dont they just stay away?
I had threads for years here & finally gave up.
I am with you 100%!!
Looks like a typical year for me.
I had to get down to best supporting actor before I came to a movie I saw.
Good. We know what we’re boycotting.
When was 300 out? That was the last time we paid to see a movie. Before that it was March of the Penguins.
