For those of you who haven't seen Michelle Malkin's recent blog post, she has posted an absolutely brilliant adaptation by Arlo Guthrie of "I'm changing my name to Chrysler"... it has now become "I'm changing my name to Fannie Mae" <-- link to the song on youtube

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Humor
KEYWORDS: bailout; fanniemae; porkulous
This is a hoot. I found myself laughing out loud a few times. Michelle posted this as suggested theme music for "Tea Party" grassroots protests that are springing up around the country. I wish Rush would play this one on his program it really hits the nail on the head.

Wow, when even an old hippie like Arlo Guthrie gets it, and makes fun of it, you know the politicians are in for a rough time.

What’s that they say, about the right going so far that it comes all the way around in a circle and meets the left?

I used to see Arlo Guthrie at the Chicago 7 Trial back in 1970, which I attended two or three sessions a week. He was there to hang out with the defendants.....a lot of these defendants would have been big Obama supporters,
especially that “star”, Tom Hayden.
Looks like Arlo has become a bit more independent-minded.
