The rope around the head is an error.
That rope, that you see Arabs wear around their headdress, is a camel lead - it is a sign of wealth.
The religious do no wear them, as they are sworn to poverty. Obviously, an impoverished man could not afford a camel, and thus would not have a camel lead.

I live about 6 blocks from the mosque that the Portland 6 (or 7 or whatever) raised their asses several times a day in. The flying moon worshippers who lived diagonally from me in the back, celebrated 9/11 a few years back with some fireworks. I kid
