PLease pray for my daughter, Katie, who had a stroke and was rushed by helicopter to Cleveland for surgery. She is in her forties and has two children, one still in grade school. Since we live in different states, the information has been sketchy, but we do know that the stroke was a bad one.
You got it, neighbor. God bless.
praying NOW!

JONNY! I’m fighting back tears because of all the kindness of Freepers. And you, too, have never failed me.
Prayers being said.
Prayers for Katie.
I can only imagine how you feel ... (((We're here for you)))
Thanks for the ping, Starwise.
Prayers for your daughter and her family, kitkat. I know it’s scary, but medicine can do amazing things for stroke patients that they could only dream of 20 years ago.
Oh no! Prayers for your daughter kitkat. If it’s any consolation, a teacher in our church’s preschool had this happen last year and she is completely recovered now. Same age. Prayers definitely going up! *HUG*
You precious, dear soul. I can truly empathize. I was caring for two very sick parents myself but my father has since gone to be with our Lord. Meanwhile, had something like this happened to my son while all that was going on, I don’t even know what I would’ve done.
And, again, if she is in one of the two places I named, which is very, very likely, she is in very, very good hands. My mother is alive today by the grace of God AND some very gifted healers at the Cleveland Clinic.
More prayers
Prayers on the way.(((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))
Lord I lift up kitkat and her daughter. I pray that Your physician’s hand would work in this situation, calming hearts and healing bodies. I pray that the doctors would have wisdom. She is so young, Lord. Please comfort this family by moving on their behalf. It’s in Jesus’ precious name I pray these things, Amen.
Thank you, Dear Faith for the Ping! I will continue to lift Katie her babies, family and the medical staff to the Throne of God for prayer.
Dear kitkat, Please keep us updated when you can. :)
Prayers to your daughter, but know this, if she is taken you will see her again. Hopefully, for her children’s sake, she will survive.
through Your loving kindness
We Affirm in faith that You are now placing
Your hand upon Katie .
You know her concerns
Better than we do.
Know Also of our love for You
and our faith that You will grant
restoration and victory to this one who needs
You so much at this time in his life.
We pray this
In Christs name,
Amen
Prayers lifted....
Dearest Kitkat,
Agreeing in prayer for your daughter. (Have no anxiety about anything, but in prayer and thanksgiving, with supplication, let your needs be made known unto God, and the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ our Lord.)
Love,
Twinkie
Oh KitKat, we haven’t “talked” in so long, I’ve missed you. My mother’s heart goes out to you. Praying for Katie, and want you to know that her chances for a complete recovery are very good with today’s protocols and treatments. I’ll pray for her, her family and you too.
How hard it is to be far away when our loved ones are in danger! Prayers incoming.
To give you some comfort hopefully I will tell you about my husband. In 2001 at the age of 70 he had a bleed through into his brain. The size was a good 3 inches. It affected his left side. He wasn't able to walk nor talk very well. They kept him in the hospital rehab for a month and 4 days. When he came home he still hadn't been able to walk on his own. But he was determined he was going to and that he was going to drive his car again. So through rehab he was able to overcome it. It did slow him down. But thank the Lord he made it.
