PLease pray for my daughter, Katie, who had a stroke and was rushed by helicopter to Cleveland for surgery. She is in her forties and has two children, one still in grade school. Since we live in different states, the information has been sketchy, but we do know that the stroke was a bad one.
*snort* Katie-tude. I love it. Were they able to move her to a rehab hospital closer to home? I’ll continue prayer for her on our Parish Prayer list.
Thank you for the update. Sounds promising.
wonderfully encouraging news ... prayer continues.
Prayers for Katie continue, as do prayers for you and everyone who loves her.
May God’s blessings continue to rain on Katie!
I don’t know what we would do without a sense of humor. Hoping for the best for your Daughter and complete healing.

Yes, Suzi, that’s where she is. She might even get to go home this weekend, we should find out tomorrow. And, yes, please do continue prayer for her on your Parish Prayer list. That helps so much.
Thanks for the ping jonny. Praise God. So happy to hear of your Katie’s improvement.
More and more prayers for her continued recovery, and for you, her husband, and children.
Encouraging news. You and your daughter and her family will continue to be in my prayers.
Glad her/katie’s sense of humor is returning, that will help along with continued prayers during her recovery process.
Thanks for the ping to kitkat’s update,Jonny!
Ditto to Thank You God. :-)
Love and hugs!
I remember well when dad had a bit of a strange episode the first time in hospital they did an orientation quiz.
Things went well until she asked who our Prime Minister was dad answered correctly Gordon Brown she then asked address meaning of course dad's address but he was still thinking of the PM question and replied Downing Street. The quiz stopped right there leaving me and our friend in fits of giggles and dad rather bemused.
Prayers continue
Thoughts and prayers continue for Katie and your family.
UPDATE:
Katie is now home, getting physical therapy, and her left arm and hand are showing improvement. But she has a LONG way to go. Right now, one of the problems is her fear that she’ll have another stroke. Thanks to you incredible prayer warriors, I was able to tell her that she is SURROUNDED with prayer.
And I KNOW that she is.
Your prayers have helped us in more ways than I can tell you.
Katie is home!
Thanks for keeping us updated!
I’m so glad to hear Katie is continuing to improve. Still praying for her!
Wonderful news that Katie is home! Thanks for the ping.
