Lord max americana. I am IMpressed! I just moved from the westside to SB and had to put up with all the dribble during the film festival. Even had to walk out of one event as I thought I was going to blow chips the Obamamania and liberal whacko cracko was so out of line and all this on a filmmakers forum. YUCK! I left thinking I am going to have to change careers. I can't stand it another second. It is a 24/7 onslaught with these people at least where I hang.

It takes a special person to live around this and move forward and sounds like you have it. I applaud you. I really do.

If you want to just cut off internet for short bursts (I have to... FR is so adddiccting) you can find programs that will cut your internet off for a prerequisite amount of time or till you restart your computer (which I guarantee is a good detractor, I don’t think I’ve done it yet) . The one for the Mac is called Freedom, but I don’t use PCs, but if it is out there for the mac, it’s out there cheaper and with ten different flavors for the PC.

I usually don’t figure out a plot, I just write what interests me, and a plot emerges. Then I go back and fill in where needed so the plot makes sense. So don’t worry about it, just follow your characters, write down what they do and make them DO things—I don’t mean action scenes necessarily, but don’t let them sit and brood and think deep thoughts.

The plot will emerge.
