I usually don’t figure out a plot, I just write what interests me, and a plot emerges. Then I go back and fill in where needed so the plot makes sense. So don’t worry about it, just follow your characters, write down what they do and make them DO things—I don’t mean action scenes necessarily, but don’t let them sit and brood and think deep thoughts.
The plot will emerge.

Not quite sure how to turn a group of metaphysical esays into a novel, but with time and imagination - oh, wait! I forgot.
Time does not exist.
.....and imagination is the precursor of reality.
I’ll just sit back and “become the book.”
