Statism continues to run amok in Washington.

The O administration is set to soon unveil a Big Bank Bank Bailout...more debt onto debt for as far as we can see.

But a ray of hope: there are hints that some Dems as well as the Rs in the Senate have qualms about the Depression & Huge Deficit Act of 2009 which passed the House last week.

So we shall see.

Meanwhile we can have a lottery: how many Executive Orders will the new president sign THIS week??

Good evening. How was dinner this fine evening in the humidididity?

We haven’t eaten yet. The plan is to go down the hill and stop at a street vendor and get some Chicken Fried Kentucky. But it is pouring and since we do use motorcycles, we decided to wait until the rain quit. I’m afraid that the vendors might decide to not open because of the rain. Then, I’ll get the chili out of the freezer.

I’m being lazy tonight and not wanting to cook.

The stores are sold out of diet coke now. I am rationing the remnants of my stash.

Compared to your temps, we're have a heat wave here at 15 degrees.

However, there is HOPE for a CHANGE this weekend for a high of 60 degrees. Algore will be so proud...LOL.

The political winds are changing, too.....The alleged Chosen One is getting some Republican blow back....a CHANGE that I CAN believe in.
