That's great. Yes, I have to have a check up in a few weeks. I feel perfectly healthy. Seems like a waste of time going to the doctor so he can tell me I am perfectly healthy. But he insists that he wants to see me every so often. LOL.
2008 was a difficult year. I don't know if you know that I lost my mother in July, unexpectedly. I am doing okay, but it was certainly a shock to lose her so suddenly when she was so healthy and active. Then, this past election was hard to take. *sigh* I am quite distressed over the direction our country is taking. But I know I am not alone there. Other than that, things have been good.
It's wonderful to connect with you here. And glad to know that things are going well for you. How is Daisy doing?

I missed the news about your mom, so sorry to hear about that. I know she was a special lady.
Daisy's doing better, she's 9 now and had to have 5 teeth pulled last month including her upper fangs, I joke that we had to have her defanged since she's so vicious. lol
Beagles are not known to have good teeth, she's recovered well though
Well, that's good. I am glad she is doing well. We had to have some of Bear's teeth pulled too. It's hard to see your precious pets get older.
We have a new little dog, a little 8 pound Toy Fox Terrier-Chihuahua mix that our vet found wandering lost near his home in the country. He called us to see if we would take her in and, of course, when we saw her, we couldn't refuse. She is about the same age as Chachi, the vet thinks about four years old. Here is a photo of her in her little pink Princess bed. Her name is Sissy, because he is Chachi's "Sissy". She is such a sweet little dog and she and Chachi are best buddies.

Good thing hubby’s hands didn’t swell! If they’d had to cut his ring off, that would have been the last straw and y’all would have been reading about me on the 6:00 news! LOL
Never had rutabagas growing up. My mom’s not much of a cook, altho she’s gotten better since all the kids moved out!
The older gentleman was picking rutabagas out of my boss’ patch, so boss felt kinda responsible. Metal detector was sheer genius. The man with the md runs a small garage. He closed shop and went right then. Such is life in a small town. I love it. :)

I don't think there would be any point in posting at all if everyone agreed on absolutely everything. I did say I didn't get much of a reading on Jillian. I simply didn't. These are my POVs and my guesses, which are as good as anyone's.
