Hi Dita .. I agree. My times to visit are so limited & the treads so long & full of wonderful things.
HOPE ALL KNOW I LOVE YOU ALL.. and hope eventually to have a more normal existence (what ever that may be) & participate more
Pretty much. Sometimes I add just a touch of sugar if the rutabagas are bitter. Usually not much of a prob with homegrown. I think the bitter comes from the wax the stores coat them with.
yes long time with cast including my HS reunion (day after break) where I had all these sexy clothes & old boyfriends to vamp & instead was a mess
14 weeks. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, My birthday
SUCKS big time
sun is now shining here & it is snowing heavily. Temp 23 & windchill 14
took long hike with friend John & his 2 dogs.. found frozen river area to let dogs play. I sat & watched & took pix with John's camera & John did stick with them & got them exhausted.
they are now soundly sleeping rather than chewing on me or the furniture or shoes etc. I pray bill will do well. I will miss him. I took him on as a "project" thinking if my dad were still alive & all alone, I would want someone to care for him & add to his life. He is at the same time a joy & pain in butt.. much like my mom, whom I love dearly but the caregiving of a strong willed invalid parent is tough.
Hi Dolly:) Here’s a quick “M’wah!” before I go.....
Yes, I have to hand it to Stephanie - she was only the second one I remember ever seeing leave with her dignity intact. "Mary", from several seasons ago, was the first one. She lasted until about #3 that year, and they brought her back a year or so later - she ended up being the last one standing the second time. I mentioned her in our earlier conversations. :)
I think Naomi will be gone next week, too. But Jillian is coming in strong from the back of the pack! I'm not as sure it's going to be Molly and Melissa now as I was last week.
Where is DeAnna, anyway? Maybe she's not coming back after all?
Right! That was very misleading at the beginning, wasn't it. I hate when they do that! LOL
Thanks for opening the doors today with that beautiful deer graphic, Billie.
Thank you, Lori - Amy tells me you sent her several new openings this weekend. YAY!!! I don't think I sent any this weekend, so REALLY glad you did!
Behind the Gray Rock Cafe in Grayling, Michigan Tim Gillette made the deer feeder with the 'Browning' logo. These twin Albinos have been coming into the back of Gray Rock Cafe since they were fawns in 2006. We have been trying to capture a digital pic of them for awhile, but they arrive at dusk or even later and the pics don't turn out. On Friday about 10 am they arrived. It was a beautiful morning and they came for their photo op.
Wow!
Love your pix jaycee!
You know I enjoy knowing all those words for snow but can’t get out of my mind that they all sound like involuntary bodily functions.
I had surgery one time and they had to get all my rings off because my hands were swelling. They got them all off but one and they had to cut if off and I later had to get it fixed. I was very sick and at the moment they cut it off, I didn’t care what they did. When you have a lot of medicine in you, you just don’t care....LOL~~~I fussed later!
My mom used to cook rutabagas when I was a young girl. She made it real sweet and we would eat it with hot buttered biscuits. I never was a finicky eater!
They are so beautiful!! I love the feeder. That is amazing they have been visiting for 3 years now!
GeeBee, I just heard a report a while ago that we will be getting more snow late this evening and through the night. I will report tomorrow...LOL!
They do. LOL! :)
I hope you get your snow. We are getting heavy snow now. I’d share if I could. ;)
Oh, how precious! Thanks for sharing those photos, jaycee. How pretty they are!
Awwww, look at that sweet lil thang! Thank you, Meg!
