I like the white canvas behind the frame! And of course the ‘babies’ are adorable, too! :)

Venturing a thought here that I’ve had before. I think a fair number of the Bach contestants, both male and female, are looking to further their own interests/careers.

Remember Bob Guiney, the curly-haired musician? He seemed to be ONLY interested in himself and his “music.”

Then, in this season, Lauren seemed to think she has some talent. According to her, her little song was the very best. So, yeah, some are there to be seen and most of the females look great in a bikini.

This IS entertainment. At least, it isn’t endless, like a soap opera.....

This IS entertainment.

Yes, that is exactly what it is. :-)

Billie your opening today, and the music, is so pretty. Thank you for the lovely images you bring.

Thank you, Lori. You, above all, certainly know how much I enjoy doing it. :)

You know, talking about your grapefruit tree being so fruitful, I feel that way about any fruit or pecan trees. As much as I love fresh, sweet, juicy peaches (and it's not possible to buy them in the grocery store because they taste more like cardboard), when the one big peach tree we had starting dying a few years ago, I was SO happy we could finally have it cut down, and I wouldn't have to go out every evening after the peaches ripened and pick a sack full of them and THEN they had to be peeled and cut up and put away in the freezer. The only thing I miss is getting a package out of the freezer and making a fresh peach cobbler, or just serving them over ice cream. :)

Oh, what a neat picture, though, Dave! Brrrrr - don’t like being wet and cold! The bikers probably didn’t feel cold - they were working so hard.

I certainly agree with everything you stated in your post, Lori. A person would have to be tremendously bold to do all the things they do together with all the directors, etc. standing around and millions of viewers. Its like the movies, I guess, they perform the same way, even worse!

I think most of those women are attractive and beautiful in their own way and they could find someone if they wanted to.
But just think, what would be talking about right now, if we didn’t have them to entertain us for a few months. LOL!

How many couples have stayed together? The only one I can think of is Trista and the fireman from Colorado, can't think of his name - Ryan? I think they just had their second baby. They seem very happy together.

One more couple, and I can't remember the Bachelor's name - his pick was Mary something. I believe they are still engaged, but it's been two or three years and still not married.

LOL! I always thought he was ‘cute’ - but he’s trimmed down quite a bit, and he’s also 3 years older and has grown more into his ‘mature’ looks. :)

Oh, I hope you have a scrub jay family moving in! Although, you might want to wear a helmet when you go outside around their nest. Mine know me and let me come near their babies, but Precocious’ parents were like kamikaze fighters, dive bombing anything that came near “their” lemon tree. My mom went out and bought a huge brimmed hat to wear outside. It didn’t help much.

I agree with that 100%, Dita! And yes - Bob Guiney! YUK! I didn’t ever like him very much though. :)

That little girl was a cutie!

The song “Yellow Rose of Texas” is a terrific song. You should work that into a Welcoming sometimes...you love horses and Texas loves horses....and you already have the yellow roses...LOL!

That is true and, as La Enchiladita said, it IS entertainment, after all.

WHEW! I have GOT to go - we may be having baloney samwiches tonight if I don’t find something in the fridge to pop in the microwave! (Hate bologna - don’t have any) :)

Yes, I remember Trista and Ryan?. We always love stories like that. I did see where they had another baby. I would love to see them on someone’s t.v. show sometimes.

Yes, it was when I got too close to the tree that I discovered the nest I was watching belonged to the scrub jays. The twiggy branches are dense, so it is hard to see their blue plumage, but their raspy call is distinctive.

They aren’t around much so I’m not sure what stage the nesting is in.

Trista and Ryan will be on next week’s show, at least as I could gather from the promos.

Don’t you know that he was thing ‘bout ya Billie? LOL....
He is a good looking man for sure. I would love to see him in concert, wouldn’t you?

Speaking of Humphrey Bogart..he was a great actor, but looks he really didn’t have (in my eyes that is) but we all don’t see the same.

The picture you took on that turning....gosh, there was so many bikes, going so fast, I don’t understand why they didn’t just crash into each other. Looked impossible for that many to turn there and not wreck. Exciting looking!
