Pippin, I think they were unaware of your poem at the time they posted the “Good ol’ Days” music and pic. When I was reading the thread, I made the connection.
Many, many, many years ago (oh yeah, back in the good ol days:), there used to be a TV show called “Concentration.” I was very good at it, remembering what was behind each square and matching them. This was kind of like playing Concentration.
Oh, I didn’t make the connection either until I reread the posts from Thursday. NEAT!
I’m undecided what to do. I will probably see if I can talk to an attorney before I do anything.
In the instructions, I find that I need to get signatures of her parents and both sets of grandparents. Oh My. I know my brother would sign and I think his ex-wife would. Since my niece is in big trouble again, I think she would sign.
I’ve been trying to decide if it would stir up a hornet’s nest if I start looking for her father and his parents. Whenever the father is working, he has $214.00/per month withheld from his check. The checks have been pretty steady but last month I received a check for $46.00. He and my niece were never married and he hasn’t seen Marissa since she was a baby. I talked to his father once and was very uncomfortable. I wondered why he waited until she was 5 years old to decid he wanted to see her and take her places. I bluffed him (I think); I haven’t heard from him for about 4 years.
I wonder if I should leave well enough alone and continue to carry notarized papers with her Mom’s signature whenever we go out of state.
I’m scared; I do not want to take a chance on some stranger taking her away from me. She is MINE! If need be, the school and the church will write letters for me. I’m just in a turmoil right now.
Time to get an attorney’s advice.
Thanks, Billie.
I couldn’t find a picture of Reagan that I liked better than the one that Conor posts.
I checked your profile page but found a blank page. What happened?
:^ )
The graphics that you posted today are just beautiful, Meg.
Thank you.
Howdy, yourself! Hope you are having a lovely weekend. Thanks
for joining us whenever you can! We’ve had fun!
Oh! this one! I hadn’t seen it yet.
And beautiful red cardinals, Meg at #1044, yorkie at #1049, and Jaycee at #1053! So pretty - all of them!
And thank you for the compliments on yesterday's red-bellied woodpecker opening! I thought he was a beautiful thing, too!
Enjoyed the pictures, Dolly. Hope Wheelbarrow’s feeling a little better about his move.
I believe on all of them. :) MOST of the bluebirds I have came from him! Then others thought of me when they came across a cute one, so my collection is a good one! :)
Thanks for always being so kind and complimenting me on my graphic contributions, Billie. You're sweet and thoughtful. :-)
I always look forward to seeing which opening graphics Amy uses every day. I think you and I have learned from each other all these years - picking up little tips or tricks from the other along the way. :)
So cute....thats the way I felt yesterday about birthdays, etc.
People add so much to our lives, just like pets, but when they go, they sure leave a big hole in your heart.
That last card is adorable!
Thank you..Yours was gorgeous..but I am repeating myself.
;o)
Sorry I missed Ronald Reagan's birthday yesterday, but I went out for pizza at the end of classes with a few other teachers, and by the time I came home I was so tired and just wanted to go to bed. And of course, today was cleanup day and I had to take my dogs to the groomer, and ran a few errands also. I still need to clean up my aquarium, but I will do that tomorrow.
I'm working on a music table to post on FR. But I will first reply to a few pings from yesterday (so I don't look rude, lol) and I will post it afterwards.
Thanks so much for the warm welcome, LaEnchiladita. It’s good to see you!
I love Fettuccine Alfredo ... I usually order with chicken and broccoli with extra cheese.
MMMM .... good.
