In Indiana, requiring encoding, plus a $0.05 per round tax. Not bad for the larger (and more expensive) calibers, but that will easily double the cost of .22 ammo.

Another case of a company that "invents" a technology, then tries to shove it down our throats by using the iron hand of government. Further, it attempts to criminalize the possession of your existing ammunition inventories and drive of the cost of purchase of new ammo. Just say NO!

First they'll have to find the existing ammo. Then they'll have to dig the rounds out of their carcasses so they can see if it has the appropriate markings.

Gonna need lots of bureaucrats to manage this program!

Virtually the same bill language in every state. They tried this in Missouri last year and it didn’t make it out of committee.

Let your state Reps know this ain’t going to fly. Some city cops are all for it so be watchful. It’s all about catching criminals don’t ya know! (and making a few more in the process).

These people behind this national effort are traitors.

And the British thought the Boston tea party was bad....

Wait until Americans start turning in their unmarked ammunition through the barrel of a gun.

Gonna be a busy 4 years! Defending against these fluffy bunnies and their fluffy legislation while trying to make a living is going to be two full time jobs.

Some folk are going to have to decide:

“sea-kitten or bifurcate sea-kitten attractive treats!”

and now for something completely different....

In IL these are all OLD BILLS that died in Committee. All the effective dates - if passed - were Jan, 1, 2009. A little late for that.

Don't know about the other states but this is old news. The RATS always attempt this in every session.

I wonder what the Capitol building would look like with 8 million gun-owners outside. I wonder how the DCPD and the SS woiuld handle it.

Congress had better get a grip. They are not safe because they are politicians in Wash, D.C. Piss off too many of us they could find out what a real revolution looks like.

Arizona has turned it down, according to postings here last week.

IF NObama and his cohorts succeed in taking away the ammo- what will become of the following:
1. Hunters in every state and all the fees they pay? State conservation departments work hard to balance the amount of animals that populate any area, and hunting pays for lots of those efforts, along with weeking the population as necessary.
2. Guides who make a business of taking hunters into new areas and are hard working and tax paying Americans.
3. Lodges and Inns which accomodate the above.
4. L L Bean, Cabela’s, and Scheel’s- they sell millions of dollars of goods every year to hunters. Sales taxes on those items support the surrounding area with lots of dollars.
5. Suppliers to #4. Jobs, commerce, income taxes, etc.....
6. Ranchers who need to keep predators away from their sheep and cattle. There isn’t a sheep herder anywhere in this country that doesn’t have a .22 rifle to kill coyotes. Is NObama going to recompense all those ranchers for lost livestock, the foundation of their ranches which make them a living??????

Bottom line: only the criminals will have the guns and the ammo.

When someone hides same and gets attacked in their home—Castle Doctrine—will the homeowner be arrested for having the weapons to defend himself and his family? The perp walks or can sue the homeowner for protecting the family?

Will NObama demand that Castle Doctrines that various states have passed???

This is a hard step into BIZZARO WORLD-—the place where NObama and the Liberals seem to feel most comfortable.
Everything is backwards with these people.....

You know, this is the sort of thing that could actually make people take up arms. Tyranny seems to be on the march again. Best begin evaluating your neighbors and associates; figure out now who’s a patriot and who might be looking at you over a rifle sight.

Hmmm... So it’s sounding like I should add a few cases of mixed pre-AAA ammo to my 401K plan. Seems like it’ll be worth something in 20-30 years, and ammo kept dry and cool has no shelf life expiration.

1. Each state will have to post a $100 million dollar funeral fund for police and citizens who fight this out. 2. this is blatantly against constitutional law without just compensastion (they don’t have enough money to compense me).3. If this passes in each respective state, then it is time to break up the union and start all over. 4. I will fight this with every last penny and breath that I have. 5. I am not a poor person. 6. Good luck New World Order. Your time is coming to an end. You have yet to meet a really pissed off American.
