President Barack H. Obamas biographers will need to know a little more than is currently known about his birth. After all, the presidential birthplace should be a national monument. Preparations should be started now to preserve it. Where is the house in which he was born? Or was it a hospital, I cant remember?
Since Obama is one of our youngest presidents, the midwife who assisted the birth should still be alive. Historians and journalists would like to interview her. Wait, was it a doctor who attended the birth of our first black president? What was his name?
Oh, you could just look on the original birth certificate to answer all of these questions. It will be necessary for the American people and the world to know this fascinating part of our history.
Yes, a book and an NPR documentary about Obama’s early life before his historic presidency. Google could certainly set up the website with the latest technology for multilingual participation with translation.
But these birth narratives are at risk of being lost if something is not done soon.
The historians and Obama’s people owe it to the world to get this started.
I’ll bet if someone placed an ad in Kenya advertising a trade for sponsorship to become a US citizen in return for Obama’s birth certificate, it would turn up in a heartbeat.
His specific birth site in Kenya is believed to be a hospital in the coastal city of Mombasa.
When a president is elected in the US, the birthplace, hometown, school, hospital, etc. put up plaques. People come forward who witnessed the birth or other evnets. And the city generally celebrates the historical locations and events surrounding the president's life. The C-SPAN bus comes around and starts their presidential series.
None of this has occured, except in Kenya.
Monday, Frontline (PBS) ran a feature on Obama. There was no mention of a birth place. Usually this show is fairly thorough in it’s reporting. I have seen other bios on other presidents and famous people. They all mention birthplace.
Why stop at just the birthplace? Let’s locate every one of his individual footsteps during the campaign - heck, make it his entire life - and make each one a national historic site. Think of the public sector jobs accomplishing this.
Since Zero’s bro in Kenya makes 12 bucks a year and poops in a hole he dug... I bet if someone advertized a reward of 10,000 dollars for the real BC...you’d get results PDQ.
clever.
This is a great idea. Is their doubt about any other president’s birth place?
Outstanding post.
the Obama Pilgrimage Trail...to visit his birthplace at least once in your life
Thanks for taking a reasonable statement about how hometowns have reacted to a local boy becoming president and turning it into a ridiculous hyperbolic statement.
Yes, it makes perfect sense...and thats why it’s so “nutty” that it hasn’t been done yet. But I think it will catch on with those who really love Obama.
It is becoming more and more clear that the new president does not meet the constitutional qualifications for the job.
The supreme court has decided that all the court filings are moot because he is now president and can only be removed by the congress. The court refused to grant any delays to the election process or to schedule a hearing in a timely manner, so they passed on the issue. Given that the dems run both houses there will most likely be no investigation or impeachment and removal.
That leaves two venues in which to pursue the truth. Laws in the states requiring the secretaries of state to require each candidate prove their qualifications for the 2012 election and the search for truth for the historical record. Both of these goals are being pursued.
More circumstantial evidence.
1. On the day after the US election in November, the Kenyan ambassador to the US stated in an on-air interview with a Detroit radio station that Obama's birthplace is in Kenya, and that Kenya was going to make it a historical landmark site. Kenya probably realized soon after that following up on the ambassador's notion would be a bad idea, since acknowledging Kenyan birth would put Obama's presidential eligibility status under the US Constitution in serious jeopardy. They have been silent since.
His specific birth site in Kenya is believed to be a hospital in the coastal city of Mombasa.
2. No one in Honolulu has come forward to acknowledge or celebrate the fact that the president was born there. This is highly unusual. When past presidents have been elected, their birthplace, hometown, and other events and locations have been acknowledged as historical landmarks. No plaques have been erected, no one has come forward with testimonials, no public figure has made any proclamation regarding the president being born in Hawaii or anywhere in the states. In fact, the hospitals in Honolulu all indicate that they have no record of his birth there. The address claimed was occupied by the owners who were two college professors who were not familiar with Obamas family. However, Kenyan officials have proclaimed his birth in Kenya on several occasions.
3. On Monday evening, the PBS program Frontline ran a bio on Obama. They did not make any statement about where he was born.
The three biggest obstacles are the president himself who continues to refuse to open his records in Hawaii and Kenya, the failure of the state officials and judges to act, and the indifference of the majority of Americans fed by the blind media which fails to lead the demand for information. It is the height of irony and hypocrisy that Obama has taught classes in constitutional law and just took an oath to uphold the constitution.
I continue to believe that one of the biggest frauds in American history is taking place right out in the open. I am also convinced that the truth will come out and eventually be part of the historical record.
If you care about the constitution and truth, please write a letter to your senator, the president, and a major newspaper demanding that Obamas birth and school records be made public. Also, write to your state representative and ask them to introduce a bill requiring the secretary of state to do their job and verify the qualifications of all future candidates.
As far as I know all 42 other presidential birthplaces are known.
Tell Rush about this so he can volunteer to pony up the money for the protection and restoration of the President’s birthplace.
Should we change it from Office of the President to Office of the Resident?
Pass the popcorn. In the mean time, we need to contact our state officials to 1). get laws passed to show certified "vault" birth certificate copies to be on the ballot in 2012 2). Contribute money for the Obama place of birth monument.
Keep the faith nufsed... this is all very odd. It wouldn’t hurt for all of us to pump up the activity and the noise and speak out and keep the pressure on at all levels.
