Any chance for FR to create a new FR Poll Question on "Who You Want to be the Next RNC Chair"? It could list all six candidates separately as well as include as separate options, "Don't Care", "Any of the Six is Fine by Me", "Undecided", and "None of the Six are Acceptable to Me". It would also open up a chat about people's choices as well as about what conservatives seriously need to do about their future, both short-term and long-term, and what the Republican Party, as a whole political party, seriously needs to do about their future, both short-term and long-term.
My choice would be Ken Blackwell.
He’s half black, half white, half Indonedesian, and %100 pissed off. What a joke.
We need someone that can appeal to the hispanic community. The party seems extremely nativist right now and it needs to appeal strongly to hispanics or Florida, Colorado, and New Mexico are completely off the map within a few cycles.

it’s all about race, principles don’t mean shit.
And how do you appeal to the hispanics? Free stuff?
All I can say is if the GOP starts playing identity politics one-upsmanship with the Demonrats, then the GOP is done. Like last night’s frozen dinner.
Bluntly, I no longer give a Damn anymore.
I did not leave the Republican Party- they left me at the station a long time ago.
I will support individual candidates, regardless of party.
Will the chair be electrified?
Give us a break, if we must give up our interests to cater to every separate group, what's the point in even belonging to the psrty. Hispanic issues tend to be urban issues and all of us country folks deserve a voice too.
BIG DITTO.
My kindest regards to you, and yours, Cindy.
Somehow reagan trying to appeal to women by appointing the centrist Sarah Day to the supreme court didn’t piss conservatives off too much. Appealing to the economically leftist blue-collar worker didn’t piss conservatives off too much.
If you want conservatives to be the majority pary, you better adapt to changing circumstances.
The republican party had a rampant nativist element in the john birch society which it had to make less visible to win elections in the 70’s. This is no different.
I don’t see how trying to appeal to hispanics means giving up on our principles like diehards try to make things out be.
I’m with you................who cares? All the rhetoric about bringing Hispanics, women or some other minority into the party is just ignorant.
I would love for everyone to be a Conservative but what is meant by “reaching out” to Group X? What the hell does that mean? You put your ideas forward and try to convince all Americans these are the best ideas for the future of America and its people. If a person from any group agrees with those ideas they vote for you, and if not, they don’t. If reaching out to Group X means allowing their group to trample over our national sovereignty as they thumb their noses at our laws; count me out.

Please define Republican Party. I think a lot of people need a refresher course.
Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn. The GOP doesn’t care what you want.
Thank you backhoe and same to you.
