Even House is on my ‘do-not-watch’ list since they had that lesbian love story line.

Watched two movies on Turner Classics and then going out to see a movie and then a little shopping. It’s a gorgeous day in Fresno!! The inauguration is a sickening display of ignorant people worshipping the anti Christ. No thanks.

You can count me in too, AD. Thanks for starting this thread. I had the same idea - was going to startan "I won't be watching" thread/FReeper poll, but you beat me to it!
I would like to see off George W. Bush, thank him & wave to his helicopter (on TV of course) but then I'll be turning it off. Then Rush, Sean & Mark. When/if they break to live coverage of Snowbama, it's YouTube. Anything on Survivalism, Freemasonry & The Illuminati. That's where my head's been at, at the moment.
Best, bL

I have not watched ANY TV news since Nov.4th. However I did switch on FOX this morning when I read here on FR that President Bush had commuted the sentences of Ramos and Campeon. I heard Martha McCallum speak of the excitement because The Kenyan had made an appearance somewhere. Enough....the set went off.
I refuse to drink the cool-aid.

That bit about TCM is funny.
I’ll be watching some of my new DVD’s.

You should go to the movies and see Defiance. Not just a good WWII film but a tale of how people can unite against overwhelming evil and survive. It could prove instructive. For anyone who has seen Defiance, how does it compare with Partisans of Vilna?

Since I have not watched tv for the past 3 weeks, I will make it a full month in honor of myself not watching tv!
Honestly, is there anything worth watching on the propaganda tube anymore?

I will be trying to get this stupid virus off my computer. It has pop ups to various search pages I didn't ask for and it is so slow it won't move. Almost every click get you a redirect and jump to a fictitious page. I've tried pretty much everything and it's still here. Many times it just times out and goes nowhere. I hate to format C:, but it looks like it's coming. I even did a Ghost restoral and it worked about 5 minutes.
I can't even watch enough TV to check the weather. I just feel ill and want to vomit. I can't believe America did this.
A few months back I made the comment that every generation has to do this to itself. Just like the country had enough of Nixon and Ford, so they decide we needed Carter to have a clean government. Well, we barely survived that purge, so now, I assume the people want to destroy America again. I just pray he doesn't do what black mayors have done to Detroit, Philly, and DC. Remember the difference between Dinkins and Rooty in NYC?
Scuse me, I feel nauseous again.

My TV has been disconnected for 3 years. I don’t think I could live watching one now, with every station praising the Obamessiah 24/7. I’ll have to remember to cover my eyes when passing thru airports...

"I had Savage on last Friday and he was talking about what a nice guy Obama is and he was still bashing Bush"
Exactly, he (Savage) is turning out to be just like all the rest in that he's in it for number 1 (himself). He had Berg on months ago, but has become a Barry admirer as of late. Very disappointed in Doc Savage!

Is there a way you can get a TV package that only has the sports channels without all the other garbage?

TV is like a monkey on your back. You don’t realize how it (and the media) controls your life until you turn it off.
We cut our cable in 2000 and watch DVD’s of our choosing. Also have more time to read, view news on the internet and actually enjoy/participate in life (rather than watch someone else live theirs).

I'm not.
When I get home from work, I'm gonna pop in Wall-E and watch the antics of that crazy, yet lovable robot in high definition and Dolby 5.1
