Good evening, and welcome to the new week's thread.
P-E Obama must find a replacement for Bill Richardson, Sec-Commerce designate, who withdrew his name Sunday.
Israel continues its incursions and attacks on Palestinian terrorists, AKA Hamas, in Gaza.
And many of us regroup after a busy season with Family and Friends in December.
I am off to a rehearsal for my Children's Theatre group. Tomorrow we start back up with the school tour. I also start teaching lessons again this afternoon. So I guess I am back at work, although the university doesn't start up for three more works so I will have a light schedule until then.

Molly, hope you are feeling better this morning. Hubby and I are finally over the cold our daughter passed on to us from Texas! She is back in Austin now finishing up her law school applications.
I am hoping that all this talk about Senator Stuart Smalley from Minnesota is just that - seems like his people like to leak things that are not necessarily true. What is wrong with the voters up there in the Land o' 10000 Flakes, er ----- Lakes!!
‘After Christmas’ is slowing down, about half the toys kids got from ole Santa and being rounded up (the parts we can find) thrown away. Never will forgot the kids seeing the toys under the tree and give thanks to God we have thew two little fellas as our own children now and YES! I am doing everything I can to spoiled them, a 24-7 job at that.
My cat that was placed upon me from GD had his paws out and learning the hard way he can't do like he use to. He jumped n the screen door yesterday and bounded to the floor and got up and tried it again.
Well, on the politics side, let us all get ready to watch these next 4 to 8 years and see us reverse the gains made with he pubs in power. BLAME THE PUB POLITICIAN! They sold their soul's to the dems, were defeated and now we pay the price..............Make you as mad it does me? ‘Spect they found out they can NOT buy friendship with the dems?
Got SIL coming over soon to check the ole ‘puter’ out, having problems with it and KNOW it is me, not the computer, oh well, mark it up to old ahhh, sure miss the nickel pencils and 10 cents a pack notebook paper.
Now, to pic out a book I want to start reading, on a REAL big reading kick and enjoying every second of it.

Yoo Hoo! We’re over here.
I’ve been having headaches lately. You have my sympathy. Hope you’re feeling better by now.
Loved the football references - The Eagles WON!! My Dad was laughing and having a ball watching that game. He had company and was able to relax without my step-mother who is in rehab for the time being. I didn't realize what a toll it is taking on my Dad with her being sick and all. Your prayers are much appreciated now as always. He's 84 and much too old to be a caretaker, although in relatively good health.
The wee new great-nephew is doing fine. His weight has stabelized at 2 lbs, 9 ozs it seems. He has passed all the tests except one; he has a small hole in his heart and may need surgery. His name is Camden Lee and big brother Lucas Allen is a joy to us all right now. For some reason, he wanted me when my sister-in-law picked him up after his nap yesterday. I am always delighted when any of the kids want me to hold them. :)
Oh - me too.
How’s the weather up your way? It’s 41 with a 37 degree wind chill down here.
Thanks for the reminder.
Toby, could just picture the cat in my head. Made me chuckle.
Ev , you and your family remain in my prayers.
Good afternoon, everyone.
Feel better soon , Molly.
I've been bagging up 2 liter returnable plastic bottles for refunds. Wow, they take up a lot of room! My New Year resolution is to return them more regularly.
17 with a 4 degree wind chill up here.
p.s. Great news about your foot!
Love his name, big brother's also.
WOO-HOO!!!
Thanks sweetie.
Brrrr. Thanks, I’m pretty happy that I started the new year off with 2 good feet.
Just got back from Grandaughter’s 6th family Birthday dinner.
They grow up so fast!
I think I have all of Christmas put away.
Now I need to clean a lot.
Hi kassie. It was 24 degrees very early this a.m. but climbed up to 34 and stayed until a while ago and is dropping again. I don’t know what the wind chill make the temperature, haven’t heard. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be around 30 degrees and climb up to 57 degrees. The weather has been just right for me, but for the rest of the town, one would think is 50 below the way they’re bundling up. I just put on a sweat shirt and carry my jacket, if I need it. So far my sweat shirt is doing it’s job.
Good evening to all. It seems that every time I check the news, it makes me either disgusted, infuriated, frightened or nauseous.
I’m lurking, just stopped in to say Hi.
Good night everyone.
Going back to bed.
