Israel continues its incursions and attacks on Palestinian terrorists, AKA Hamas, in Gaza.

And many of us regroup after a busy season with Family and Friends in December.

For anyone out there who reads First Things, or follows the writings of Father John Neuhaus...he is gravely ill, and needs our prayers. He has spent the last decades defending clear principles of faith and freedom. What a proud warrior in the fight for our place in the public square!

Will your nephew be at Benning this next week? Tell him to drop over to Auburn in his free time (!) and I’ll give him a home-cooked meal. After the 17th the invitation is rescinded. Weather-wise he is heading into this area’s really beautiful time. We’ll probably get frosts down into April and may even get some snow, but overall things are budding out. Tell him not to go into any ponds, creeks or rivers. Gators have migrated this far north.
