Could that sand be that white? I would like to go there so much that I almost get sick because I can’t. Its absolutely out of this world.

It’s 40 now..and sunny..I can’t complain..I was suprised at how cold it was earlier. How’s Gorebull warming working out for you? You all sound like you are snowed under bigtime.

They are! Dakota is getting old, though, and my son worries
about his health and how much longer he’ll have him to love. :(

Happy Thursday, GeeBee.
Thank you, that picture was taken by JKPhoto
(AKA Mr MamaBear )at our Annual Christmas Get-together.
I wish PM would wait a few years to notice boys. Too late!
Nine seems pretty young to me but they grow up so much faster than we did.
Booboo will be 12? .... I'll bet it seems impossible.
Is she very aware of boys and boyfriends?
I'm not ready. :)

Could that sand be that white? I believe it is. Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman looks like that. Like pure white sugar without a bit of seaweed or ocean debris on the beach. And the water is the most gorgeous shade of clear glittering aquamarine.
We don't have good beaches along the CA coast - at least none that compare with any in the Caribbean. For some reason we get lots of that yucky stinky seaweed that washes up and then rots on the beach. I grew up near the ocean back east and was never so disappointed as I was when I first saw the "beautiful" California beaches. And the ocean water is freezing no matter what the time of year. I suppose there are some nice stretches of beach here, but a lot of the coast line is rocky or littered with ocean debris.
Here is a photo of Seven Mile Beach...
