I am trying to decide whether or not to go to church this morning. i need to go...have missed a couple of Sunday’s.

Good Morning All... and A Blessed Lord's Day!

You and me both jaycee. We have started out the New Year sick and missed last Sunday. This morning our Saudia is sick, so I will stay in with her, and Papa and Kobe will go on to church. Not the way I like it...but...oh well!

Thank you Mayor as usual for sending in ODB...

...and of course the " walk down Amy's place lane", with beautiful photos and graphics is always comforting and full of encouragement and fun! Thanks, Polly

HI all

Sorry to not be a round lately, trying to get over Walking Pneumonia, (bit difficult to do with the heat almost off in the apartment the last three days. Living room is down to 53 degrees and bedroom is colder. Maybe they will get it fixed by Monday, I hope so!)

The Gift

Sweet it is in the dawn of another day
a chance to love, a chance to pray
A wondrous gift from the one on high
in whom all our hopes are free to fly
The rose and pearl of the dawn do lay
in the sky and my soul in peace I say
I do most humble stand and bow my head
and feel the passing of pain and dread

Good Morning MEG...Saudia is hoping that she will feel well enough to go to school tomorrow. She is prepping for Final’s week and really can’t miss.

I am so proud of her!! She is going to graduate from High School and go onto College! That for a girl who was born with all odd’s against her!

A Blessed Lord’s Day to you too.. it is just BEAUTIFUL in Los Angeles.

What a lovely photo! I love snow....to look at that is! *snicker*

Leisure

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this is if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

William Henry Davies

Thank you, Dear Jaycee! I Visited her Yesterday, and she is Continuing to Improve Greatly, Thanksgiving to our Lord. My Sister-in-Law Told me that if the Doctors had not Done the Emergency Surgery, she would have Passed Away. :( I'm Thankful it wasn't her Time to Depart for Heaven's Shores.
