The New Year week is here. Wishing you all the best.
A quick Monday morning start for the week.
Mr. Kitty is home, not a happy camper either, sulks, mopes around (I can understand why of course), at least he will stop scratching me but I do feel sorry for him.
Got a call from a jail I took some books to last week asking for more novels (Christian), Chaplain said he has never seen the inmates flock to the books. Gotta tell you, it is a good project.
By no way am I comparing inmates with our troops but if you will, send a religious novel to a trooper in Iraq, etc. believe me, they will thank you.
Sure is earl to start a day off rambling so, will back off for a while and let all get their eyes open, that cup of coffee (or 2, maybe 3) so I will be chatting with ‘my family’ in just a little while.
Toby
Going to be in the 60’s here today and tonight in the low 30’s (this is a one day affair, will warm up tomorrow).
Good morning, Toby!
Sweetie! My pleasure.
Good morning.
I woke up with one of your tunes in my head. Made me smile.
it is currently 9 degrees here. I will zip my coat if I go out today.
I just got an email from the folks who have the recording studio. The band like to record again this summer, we will have to see if it works out.
WOW!!!
Great news!
Good morning.
IG- I remember living in KS and on dark cold winter nights the wind would howl (more like a roar). As a child, I was always on the look out for tornadoes. (same kind of wind) We had huge Oak tress and the tops would bend like palm trees.
How exciting PB.
That would be fun, pb!
I could then add one more special great CD to my very small collection.
;o)
To all my old friends, and new ones too, I wish you the happiest of New Years.
I am signing off for a few days; we are traveling to Minnesota to visit relatives. I hope the weather cooperates. Then to Madison to visit Ev briefly before he leaves for training for his deployment. I should be back Saturday night.
Love to all!
God bless our troops!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
Stay safe and have fun!
Travel mercies as well.
Blessings for your dear son, God be with him.
...love, guennie
Cold here in central Wisconsin, but the roads should be fine.
Safe traveling.
Happy New Year!
We had another 5 inches of *s* yesterday, bringing our total of over 30 inches since the start of December. We haven't had this much snow since 1968. (Sounds like a song...)
Happy New Year!
Safe travels, God speed and Happy New Year! Hug your hero for me and tell him that he is going with a prayer cover. That is something which is stronger than all the tanks and bullets and air craft which he can see.
We’re proud of you, Ev!
What you are saying about the 9 degree temp is that it is NOT a good day to go fishing, huh?
