NOW of course you KNOW tomorrow we have to have some grits and eggs, I mean after all, we are starting a new year and a new years day is like breathing without air without grits on this day.

Mr. Kitty is home, not a happy camper either, sulks, mopes around (I can understand why of course), at least he will stop scratching me but I do feel sorry for him.

Got a call from a jail I took some books to last week asking for more novels (Christian), Chaplain said he has never seen the inmates flock to the books. Gotta tell you, it is a good project.

By no way am I comparing inmates with our troops but if you will, send a religious novel to a trooper in Iraq, etc. believe me, they will thank you.

Sure is earl to start a day off rambling so, will back off for a while and let all get their eyes open, that cup of coffee (or 2, maybe 3) so I will be chatting with ‘my family’ in just a little while.
