Just saw on Greta's show--a clip of Letterman getting big laughs out of Sarah Palin's church being torched by "Joe the Arsonist". I'm posting this in chat, I have already searched youtube for it and nothing yet, have also visited Gretawire.com and not seen it posted. If anyone sees it, please ping.
Seriously, I believe that if you asked 100 people if they thought David Letterman would EVER DARE make a joke about Barack Obama's church being attacked by an arsonist while women and children were inside, ALL 100 WOULD SAY NO.

I could not agree more...those in the office of the President and whomever runs for it should NEVER have to stoop this low. I hated seeing McLame and Sarah on these shows....

Some time in the last 8 years Letterman took a hard left turn.
I still TIVO the show now and then and enjoy a good laugh on occasion or a hot guest. So here's my lefty Letterman report.
Nearly everynight Letterman has "Great Moments in Presidential Speeches." He will show the greatest moments of past presidents speeches and then show Bush misusing a word or stuttering. Now he even laments that Bush is leaving and the spot will go away.
He never does that to others. We've all heard OB sturrter through a spontaneous exchange. Never showed on Letterman.
He has been consistantly criticizing the war, handwringing and fawning over guests who espouse how horrible global warming is. Most recently blaming Bush for the economic downturn. Of course, no mention of the democrat role or the recent Charley Rangel scandal in his own backyard. Surely, a NYC story.
I used to watch the entire show. I guess I'm hooked, but with TIVO I can see what I want and dump the rest.
We may as well be living in a cave since we have no TIVO! We're hoping to upgrade sometime next year!
We TIVO a lot of programs. More than we can usually watch. But when we have some time, we can watch what we want. For commercial TV, we can watch an hour program in about 40 minutes.
Where is “reverend Al Sharpton”? Such a man of the cloth should be outraged whether the church was a “white” church or a “black” church.
Dave Letterman is just another liberal mouthpiece showing what violent and hate-filled idiots liberals are.
