Each Giant player was paid $504 for winning the game. According to the inflation calculator what cost $504 in 1938 would cost $7,346.55 in 2007.
According to nfl.com each winning team player gets a $73,000 bonus and a ring which according to the inflation calculator what costs $73,000 in 2007 would cost $5,008.06 back in 1938.
So, players’ take is a little more. Just a little bit. I’m not including takes for playoff games or bonuses in an individual player’s contract.
