If the Russkis had better computers they could have made computer models and figured out that the warming was caused by white, male conservatives in the U.S.
Meanwhile, in Europe:
On December 12, 1938, the French ambassador and the British charge daffaires had called the attention of the German government to reports that the German population of Memel was planning a revolt and had asked it to use its influence to see that the Memel Statute, guaranteed by both Britain and France, was respected. The Foreign Office reply had expressed surprise and astonishment at the Anglo-French demarche, and Ribbentrop had ordered that if there were any further such steps the two embassies should be told that we had really expected that the French and British would finally become tired of meddling in Germanys affairs.

Wasn’t this right before the coldest winter Europe and Russia had for quite a while? I’m thinking of the Battle of the Bulge (1944-45) and Stalingrad (1942-43)?

Yes, if we study history, it would seem there is something unique going on. An anomoly if you will. It’s seems to a cycle of some sort. It gets a little warm for several years, and then it tends to get colder for a few years and continues this way. From studies of trees, we can see this happens with even the droughts that deemed catasrophic every time one happens.
But the funny thins is that no one seems to recognize that it’s a PATTERN and the Chicken Little’s freak everyone out EVERY TIME THE PATTERN CHANGES.

"If the Russkis had better computers they could have made computer models and figured out that the warming was caused by white, male conservatives in the U.S." Obviously, just like everything else wrong, it must be Bush's fault.
Only in this particular case, I'd suppose we have to say: old Prescott Bush was making the climate warmer for Russkis, when he wasn't too busy helping out the Nazis! ;-)

Polar bears constitute a minor problem. Every evening a member of the Syedoff party takes magnetic observations some distance from the ship to be free of the ship's iron. Each time a companion goes along with a rifle, taking a post far enough away . . . . Without such precautions the observer, engrossed in his work, might be pounced on and killed. Several bears have been encountered and they have provided fresh meat for the Syedoff party.Polar Bear: "I bearly like science, let alone scientists, Comrade."

"Al Goreski?"
Vodopyanoff has just written the scenario for a move entitled "On the Ice Flow," which will be produeced next year. The plot concerns a dirigible sent to America over the North Pole by a fascist power. The crew was rescued by Soviet aviators. The scenario, according to a description published today, shows "the bestial face of fascism" and that "all advanced mankind is attracted to Sovietland as to a lighthouse."
Mikhail Mooresky?
I'm not sure how this story got from global warming to propaganda movies.
