A 29-year-old woman in Flint, Michigan
is a mother of 10. Yes, 10 children
ranging from 2 months to 13 years old. No mention
of the baby daddy.

The Duggers deserve it, just like the Little People. They show us how to live decently and they’re good Christians, all of them. It’s a pleasure to watch those two shows.
The Duggars show us all what a true family is. They are a wonderful witness to the goodness of God in their lives. It’s a joy to watch them, as opposed to the Gotti’s and the Playboy mansion and the Osbornes.
Gads, that's awful. But you make a good point. People have come to accept the lowest type of behavior as the most likely explanation. Once upon a time, that would have been unthinkable and certainly not people's first assumption.
Coincidentally, I happened to be looking at a rack of magazines at the checkout stand the other day, and I was wondering why all of the female music and TV personalities shown on the covers seemed to have different fathers for each of their children and it seemed to be necessary to explain the parentage of each one. So I guess this is coming from two sides, from the welfare queens at the bottom of the heap and the role models in the media.
My favorite reasoning on those questions is because three of my boys look like their dad and my daughter and *gasp* 6 year old son take after me. Imagine that! They aren’t all identically taking after my husband. This morning I showed my 6 year old a picture of his grandpa at 7 (who he looks a lot like). He said they do look the same except grandpa had all his teeth in the picture, darker hair, and different clothes. Otherwise, identical.
It's much better for people to see their values than all the other crap promoting doing whatever the heck you want for your own pleasure.
We have enough of that on TV.
They go up to age 13. I do hope she can manage all of them well through the teenage years and into adulthood.
I have this strange feeling that some truth is being stretched here. Do you think that the media or the mother is capable of doing such a thing?
When it comes to the media, I have no doubt. Since I don't know the mother, I can't say there.
yeah, I get that alot too with my 7.
I checked that photo twice and can confidently state that there is a child missing.(I wonder if the family even realizes...)
Or is this like the game we used to play as kids and we have to find the missing tenth child hidden in the photo somewhere?
yeah, no 2 month old baby in that picture
I would be willing to bet there are at least 5 different men who are the biological dads.
and the more babies you have the bigger the check you get...
I would further wager that every father among them have children with other women; none married, all on assistance.
I bet they all have HALF-BROTHERS in FLINT!!
My Grandmother had 11 kids.
I don’t think 10 kids is the issue the fact that no dad mentioned in the article might be an issue. The fact that the mom’s income is on our backs might be the issue but not the number of kids.
just my 2 cents
The face of American Greed, I’m sure. Everyone else is forced to take financial responsibility for that family.
On the twelfth day of Kwanzaa...
My childrens gathered around me. Lincoln, Alow vera, Gyne-Lotrimin, LemonJello, OrangeJello, Tinactin, Tempasia, KMartina, Fallopia, Shi’Thead, Shameka-Vonquishia, Salmonella, Chlamydia Champagne, Democtorius, Saskatoon, Cheeto and Skuketia...
And it had really started to feel more like it was getting near Kwanzaa
The youngest child is what, two months old right now? It’s very likely that the photo was simply taken before the youngest was born - I honestly don’t know a lot of families who get family pictures taken that frequently. Heck, this summer my brother sister and I just had our first ‘nice’ posed picture together for the first time in something like 8 years.
My oldest two are 10 months apart and I’ve had several people ask me if my husband fathered both of them. It really ticked me off until I considered that perhaps the comment was more of a reflection on their lifestyle than my own.
BTW, I love love love big families!
