A 29-year-old woman in Flint, Michigan
is a mother of 10. Yes, 10 children
ranging from 2 months to 13 years old. No mention
of the baby daddy.
World’s oldest profession has a new pimp - Uncle Sam.
I hate people that don’t do a quick search to find out what the story is i used to do that and was embarrased here with my of the cuff posts
Who knows how long it is before there will be a profession called “Professional Mommy”, where the government pays you to stay home and raise the kids.... oh nevermind, we already have that, it's called welfare. Unfortunately many states also still pay extra for each child with out any limits. Sigh!
Part of what “President Obama’s America” looks like.
Her husband must be a hard working man to support all those kids.
Is there a schedule illustrating how her government income changed after each child?
What are their grades in school?
I don’t have to ask who this - uh - woman, voted for.
I’ll withhold judgment until I get more information.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with having 10 kids. It is a bit disturbing, though, that the article makes no mention of a dad.
There is one positive here, though: apparently, 6 of her kids (not all are in school yet) are on the honor roll.
Breeding like a rat.
You know what’s really sad about having a large number of children? Because of women like this, I have been asked by ignorant people if my five children all had the same father on more than one occasion.
I realize that. By "goodies" I meant I'll bet they get plenty of corporate sponsorship & perks as a result of their TV show. Not to mention the $$$ the TV show itself pulls in, the book deal, etc.
The Duggars have commercialized their family. I suppose that's one way to make money...not that there's anything wrong with that.
Eldest son Josh was recently married, and baby Duggar #18 is due Jan. 09.

mi PING!
Yes, I just read about the honor roll. If these kids turn into productive humans it’s a real compliment to the woman. But, let’s do the math.
These kids are very young; life will change for them too. If they were 17 year-old’s I would be impressed with their being on the honor roll. But 6 on the honor roll? What ages are those kids and what does it take to get on such an honor roll? Attendance?
I have this strange feeling that some truth is being stretched here. Do you think that the media or the mother is capable of doing such a thing?
At least they’re getting their money in the free market.
At least the Duggars are married.
That's a sad statement about our society, but a great set-up line if you enjoy sick humor and seeing a shocked look on people's faces.
This is the consequence of the federal welfare system subsidizing single parent families. It is a great example of the thoroughly documented destruction of the Black nuclear family by the welfare system that says: “Have as many babies as you can, and we will pay your for having them; but don’t have the father stick around or you get paid less”

Quite a story in itself.
