In rereading my post, it wasn’t clear that I was teasing.

Would have responded sooner but I was in transit. I was at the university from 10:00-4:45. When I got out to the parking lot my car was encrusted...............totally coated.............in ice.
.....and three of the doors were frozen shut, included both of the drivers' side doors.
So I opened the one door I could open (passenger side front), started the car, turned the defrosters up to high (thank God for rear-window defrost) and found my handy ice scraper and chipped away at the windows. That took quite a long time; the ice was really thick, and there was a layer of frozen snow on top of that.
Still couldn't get the doors open so I got in the passenger side door and crawled over to my seat. By then it was fairly warm in the car and I could sort of see out the front window. So I took off and made it home safely. The roads are horrible. Ice, covered with slush.
Shudder!
The hammer has fallen and Tubby is out at Auburn. This was not unexpected. It would have been surprising if he had been allowed to stay. My kids are all supporting of Tubby but the alum I’ve talked with DID NOT LIKE HIM AT ALL.
Tubby? Head coach, I’m guessing?
Tubby was fired for not being part of the family. This season was just the excuse.
And I'm beyond devastated that the fraud of the ages is going to 'rule' my America.
How long was he there?
Traffic is absolutely ‘inching along’ in front of my house. The wind has laid down, so visibility should be good.
Bummer about the ice chipping! ‘Tis the Season, I guess.
Our ancestors did not trudge across the prairies, facing elements and wild beasts, only to watch from onhigh as we turn into a bunch of wimps.

I actually had to laugh; came out of the performing arts center and heard a sound I hadn't heard for 7 months; took me a second to recognize it;the symphony of ice; the sound of dozens of cars being attacked simultaneously with scrapers; not a word was spoken, each intent on his/her task at hand;and one by one, the task completed, we drove off into the cold, frosty night.
We are a hardy bunch.:)
Yes. And if we keep telling ourselves that, sooner or later we'll start believing it!

Just 10 years. But he seems to be an arrogant jerk. As I said, the losing season is just an excuse.
