Apparently, SNL did a "Bailout" skit, which has created some incredible problems for NBC.
They have pulled the video and apparently gone after anyone who put the video out there, because the video has all but disappeared off the internet.
It was up on multiple sites and virtually all the copies are gone now.
There are a few new "edited" copies on the net.
Now how much power would you have to have to pull something from the entire internet?
Here is one copy still out there:
Obviously, David Gregory’s wife (VP Counsel for Fannie Mae)
ordered NBC to shut their ‘pie hole’.
Played by Eddie Murphy?
marker.
“I’d rather have the billion dollars and the sideswipe from SNL. Nice problem to have.”
and recently purchased Anne Hathaway (whatever her character’s name was)! Gggrrrr!
Thanks for posting the video of the press conference...is there a parody of it somewhere?
Nope, that’s the edited version as well. I have NEVE seen the unedited version appear online yet.
wow
That is fantastic, thanks so much for posting. Wish I could forward it to my e mail list.
bttt
what does it say about our society when political humor about powerful men of one ideoleogy only has to be censored, while there are no holds barred on the youngsters of Sarah palin?
Saved for future reference, and to send to a few friends.
NBC is good at erasure. NBC’s Juanita Brodrick interview has largely gone down the memory hole, too. Thanks to MiaT for keeping it accessible . . .
I can’t remember from where, but I found a place to actually download the video rather than just stream it. I wanted to make sure I had a copy of for posterity.
ping to save
I still have my copy, safely ensconced in a copy of Funk & Wagnel’s Dictionary...
You can send the link to your email list. The lin kis: http://msunderestimated.com/SNLBailoutSkit.wmv
Dsylexia is a terrible thing to live with, LOL.
