This video of The View is being passed around.
It begins with a talk about Obama. Then Behar, Hasselbeck, Goldberg, and Walters talk about how his daughters should be educated.
Skip to the 7:00 mark to hear their discussion on homeschooling. Joy Behar calls homeschooled kids "demented". Elisabeth Hasselbeck defends homeschooling.

Wasn’t hoopie homeschooled? I believe she was, why didn’t she defend herself and homeschooling? I think MADTV best described this horrendous show by depicting the characters of the view (from the left) as a bunch of cackling hens...
Someone else elsewhere said the same. So, I searched and she is listed on homeschool websites as being homeschooled, but I could find nothing more about it. Maybe someone else here will know more.
thats the clip, you just have to love that... lmao
Tim Tebow...
Ugh, thank you. Had Troy Smith in my head at first.
Well, I guess that’s okay. She shouldn’t be homeschooling her kids anyways!
HiYa ... nope, she’s part Democrat and part ....?????
This ping list is for articles of interest to homeschoolers. DaveLoneRanger has asked me to take over the management of this list. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping List. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added or removed from either list, or both.
Colfax family, (1980's) Grant, Drew, Reed and Garth. Parents David and Micki became "well known in the 1980's for "homeschooling" three of their sons into Harvard." The boys... have gone on to become Fulbright and Rockefeller Fellows with high honors at Harvard.
The Colfax boys didn't attend school, but instead were homeschooled in their "Forty-Seven-Acre Classroom." Drew completed his studies at Harvard and became a physician.
You know, I don’t think I know anyone who is homeschooled. Wonder if that’s unusual?
Homeschooler says Joy Behar is “demented.”
:-P
I’m not surprised you don’t know anyone personally who homeschools, but you will definitely meet some sooner or later. Look for the well-behaved, polite & happy children out in public who aren’t screaming their heads off — who open doors for people — and who look right in your eyes when you say hello — and that’s where you’ll find them. Today at our homeschool Park Day we had (as usual) about 40 children, ages 3 to 17, all playing together and loving every minute. For two hours— not one disagreement, or bullying incident, or fussing, on the playground. The olders help the youngers, and everyone gets invited and included in on basketball, tag, etc. We are one happy group of Mommas, looking on at our children enjoying their childhood, and “socializing” better than any other children we could meet in public school.
I hope Joy experiences a plethera of criticism and controversy over her degrading comments about how “demented” homeschoolers are. Hard lesson, but necessary when you have diarrhea of the mouth like she does.
All 5 of mine either have college degrees, are working on college degrees and/or are working on Master Degrees and/or higher education degrees. This includes my “learning disabled” kid. On the otherhand, my mom did have dementia and alzheimer’s... something I assume “JOY” has a problem with. AND, I have slept at a Holiday Inn Express...
Remember Whoopie is the one that thinks Stalin is just misunderstood.
Hey Joy, they’ll sober in the morning, you’re still ugly.
You know, I dont think I know anyone who is homeschooled. Wonder if thats unusual?
You’ve got to get out more.
My daughter has to attend public school this year, after being homeschooled for 3 years in a row. She’s pulling straight A’s, is testing out grades ahead of her classmates, is in top levels for reading, science, and math - and yet is still a social butterfly with tons of friends.
To the wind with Joy Behar and her nonsense.
