Who's the biggest ass kicker on the team? The time is ripe to set a trend of ass kicking... like no tomorrow. Republicans need respect, not reach out across the aisle respect. Ass kicking respect! Bush and McCain didn't do it and it needs to be done.

The issue is behaving as a conservative.
If Congressional Republicans merely BEHAVED as conservative Republicans, they wouldn't need to kick ass. They need the courage of what they say are their convictions.

Reagan kicked ass by standing by his conservative convictions, making a consistent case to the public, and (yes) compromising on peripheral issues when needed.

The first thing that came to mind concerning the OP is the following. The Republicans have to learn how to use the Internet to raise money like Obama did.
