I feel for that man or woman.

Why? Regardless of what you think, come noon on January 20th Obama will be the commander-in-chief and entitled to the respect of those reporting up to him. Salutes are a token of that respect, and I have no doubt that the men and women of the military are aware of that. Even if you are not.

The brave men and women of our military will salute whoever is COC. All we can do is pray for their future.

On this Veteran's Day I find certain responses to this question repugnant. Our military are the finest, most professional military that has ever existed.

I think it is time to review the Oath of Enlistment that is not only sworn to at the time of first enlistment, but at every subsequent reenlistment:

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

Our men and women of the United States Military will do their duty.

At the swearing in Bill Ayers will have his own personal seat, the one with the flag on the floor.

It always is, and should be the idea that you are saluting the Office, not the person.

The salute will be the mandatory and traditional recognition of the CinC. The salute does not in any way indicate respect for the individual, only the rank. I saluted quite a few officers over the years for whom I had no respect and only disgust but you have an obligation and duty to respect the military traditions and orders you swear to obey. Personally, I would probably be puking in my mouth and thinking about how quickly I could retire, end my enlistment or resign my commission. I retired just after clinton was elected and I was glad to leave with him as CinC. Even carter and clinton were not as offensive to me as BO, the nazi socialist POS.

Some buck private who committed an offense warranting a punishment more severe than polishing latrines but not quite to the level of court marshall

Funny you should ask this now, because I’d bet money that the answer is ... a pre-selected black man who has something in his history that will make it a tear jerker tv moment.

Like his name is Jerome and his Daddy wasnt aloud to play military league baseball cause he was black and now Obama is King, and then the press will show footage of themselves crying for 3 weeks.
