I don't need or want any government adding anything to my water. God made water without fluoride and thats good enough for me. Not to mention that ones own teeth is their own responsibility and not the governments.

The warning is totally dose related. Over the counter pain meds have similar warnings. Perhaps you should read the label on a bottle of Chlorine and the tells us all we should not put this in our drinking water. Additionally, perhaps you need to read the label on potash that many communities put in the drinking water and tell us not to. Or better yet you need to understand “dosage”. Cheers

It's in the food supply too.

USDA National Fluoride Database of Selected Beverages and Foods.

Don't get too paranoid, it's been there all along.

Or better yet you need to understand “dosage”.

Yep - and all those little kids brushing their teeth with bubblegum, or grape, or strawberry flavored toothpaste need to read the 'dosage' and make sure they don't put more than a 'pea size' blob on their toothbrush - and if they do swallow any, run and tell mommy or daddy to follow the instructions of the FDA - "call poison control immediately, Mommy, Daddy!"

Yep. That'll keep 'em safe. (a moot point anyway, as we KNOW little kids would never swallow any...uh huh)

When I grew up we had well water with a high fluoride content. Yes, our teeth were not blazing white, they had a very slight mottled appearance. I never had a cavity until I moved away from home and used unfluorided water.

This has been tried for years, and every administration has kept the poison in the water. Tranquilizer? Probably. I wonder if McCain or Obama will take action on it. Besides, you know it’s not real from its support from the dental industry—the last people around who want less cavities in children or adults. But enough anger from me, I feel too tranquil to type any more.

You are probably right, millions of little kids have ingested fl-. Now tell me out of those millions how many do you personally know suffer adversely. This is a great country, we can waste our money on those that sell anti fl- snake oil. Cheers.

When I was a kid, we traveled with my dad.

I can’t tell you the amount of times I swallowed toothpaste because we were in a hurry and I brushed my teeth in the car.

Geez oh Pete, there were no warnings in the sixties on toothpaste. Did you ever think that the reason why the warnings are there now is for the same reason that the “Coffee is HOT” warning is on the McDonald’s coffee?

Get a britta pitcher and you’ll be fine.

Maybe it really is poison. Who puts fluoride in the water? Mainly cities, right? Where are the libs? Cities. So now we know what is causing liberalism.

Fluoride is a common constituent of groundwater.

Taro, the plant out of which Hawaiian poi is made, collects and stores fluoride from the environment. If you eat a lot of taro, it affects your teeth.

I don't want ANYBODY especially a government i barley trust with my tax dollars messing with my water under the guise of doing good for the general publics teeth. Peoples teeth are their own responsibility and not some government do gooders job. I am lucky enough to have my own well and my teeth and my family's teeth are perfectly healthy.

I hope you have tested your well, it may contain poisons. Also I would not be suprised that it contains fl-. Wells should be tested on a regular basis because ground water can change over time.

Naturally occurring Fluoride and man-made Fluoride are totally different - you might want to research it.

It amazes me that, with this incredible tool - the Internet - at our fingertips and it's capacity to bring the knowledge of the world to our laps - that so few use it.

“The move to add fluoride to municipal water systems is part of the Communist constpiracy to weaken our nation so Commies and Islamists can take over America and turn our Nation into an atheistic, Communist, Islamic state.”

Uhhh - ever been to Vietnam? No flouride in the water, and lots of people has rotten black teeth, or no teeth at all.

We have our water tested. It's good water. I guess for me, it's a trust issue. I don't trust the government with my health and I don't like the idea of some bureaucrat’s adding anything to the populations drinking water.

how many do you personally know suffer adversely

Shall I start with my grandson who is a handsome young man now, except for his badly mottled teeth, thanks to a dentist when he was a toddler?

Or maybe the several separate town cases of school kids here in my state getting poisoned by the school's drinking water - or = ah well, to quote the English: "One man's meat is another man's poison." you can have my share of man-made Fluoride/

“And I say unto you, brothers and sisters of the Anti-Fluoride movement, we have this day struck such a blow for purity as will never call a retreat....

Out, I say, with the filthy foreign fluorides! We will sweep this fair land sweet and clean as a young boy’s tensed flank.

...I will now lead you in our theme song The Old Oaken Bucket.”

Not all toothpaste in the 60’s was Fluoridated - and I don't need a Britta - got my own sweet well water.

I don't buy bottled water either, unless it's source is spring water.

Darned if I'll pay such money for recycled tap water from places like LA, Denver, Jacksonville = which is what Dasani and Aquafina are
