Here’s what I would say: “It’s not fair that Obama has a 5 point lead in the polls, so how about he gives about 45% of his support to John McCain, just to be fair in this election.”

I’ve had 2 push polls for Obama, with fundraising.
I act interested and say I want to get my wallet and the wife and I both wanted make a $2300 donation, play them along for 1/2 hour, put down the phone, go off, go drink a beer, come back, say my wife has card, call back, etc -— THEN tell them I read up on Obama, and I had no idea he was a socialist, hated Jews, and supported abortions.
I literally sucked up 1 1/2 hour of some campaign worker’s time.

I got a call from an Obama volunteer a few days ago. I just said “I’m voting for McCain” and hung up.

You’re going about this all wrong. Your main objective when receiving a call from the opposition is to KEEP THEM ON THE PHONE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. Yank their chain for all its worth. Tell them you’ve heard of Ubama but are unfamiliar with his policies. Ask them to clarify. Appear interested, but inquisitive. 15 minutes spent with one of us who would never contribute is 15 minutes they’re NOT talking with someone who might or will. Feel free, when it’s obvious that the call must end soon, to poke them in their proverbial eye by saying, “Oh by the way GAWD DAUMMMMM AMERICA!” End with a mighty “Muaaahaaahaaahaaa!”
I personally will use an over-the top retard voice and spew every lib spin phrase while ignoring their pleas. “Hooooope...Chaaaaange, Bush Liiiiiied...people diiiiiied!...” Then after about 10 minutes, I start cracking up and ask in my regular voice, “Hey, do you think P.T.Barnum was right?”

I too got a call from an Obamanation today, male black, in Illinois of all places where “the One” has a 20+ point lead.
He was asking for money and I said I hadn’t decided yet who to vote for and asked him WHY I should vote for Obama. He told me it was time for a change, when I asked him why, he just said we HAVE to make a change.
He asked if my wife had made up her mind and I told him, yeah...she’s voting for “that McCain guy...because she can’t stand Obama’s wife, all too angry for a black woman...”
Then I pulled out the big ??? and asked him about “how come Obama can’t find his birth certificate and how some guy in Penn is suing Obama etc”. They guy said, “HOLD ON” and shouts to the others in the room, Hey have you heard Obama can’t find his birth certificate? I heard a black woman in the background say..”WHAT??, No hadn’t heard nothing like that...”
I had the guy going round and round like this on taxes, Joe the Plumber, ACORN and taxing my 401K for thirty minutes, finally told him I wasn’t going to vote for anybody like Obama because he was hanging around with terrorists and was probably a “Jew hating Muslim” anyway...that shut the guy up big time and he stammered, well you have a good day and hung up on me..
