US Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain (R) applauds as US Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama (L) speaks at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. The pitched battle for the White House briefly made way for good humor and a good cause Thursday as Obama and John McCain traded jibes at a white-tie charity dinner in New York.
United States Presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain reacts after taking a sip of Cuban expresso during a campaign visit in Miami in January 2008. No longer is the struggle against communism in Cuba the main issue in Little Havana as Cuban Americans worry about the US economy slowing down, their retirement funds evaporating, and jobs being harder to come by.
Supporters of Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., are dressed as Joe the Plumber as they stand outside the Roanoke Civic Center where a rally for Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., takes place in Roanoke, Va., Friday, Oct. 17, 2008.
Could be Obamao disciples using up their barrels of electronic ink.
Watch Obama’s body language while McCain is at the podium.
He is EXTREMELY self-conscious. A real poser that one is.
Hubby and I watched McCain’s portion. He was hilarious.
Geez you mean she ordered that dinner for herself while he was at the white-tie affair??? Holy cow I thought that was dinner for two. Who ate dinner with her that she ordered all that stuff and champagne? Maybe she didn’t like being left out of the white tie party. Or am I wrong on the day and date?
Hehe - a bit late for this comment but did anyone notice the old duffer behind McCain when he was giving his speech?
He wasn’t about to let the ceremony rush him through his dinner hahaha.... reminded me of a squirrel nibbling away and wiping his nose with the napkin.
Don’t mind me - I always look at the reactions from others...instead of paying proper attention.
