A Little Freeper Vocabulary Help Please (Vanity Question)
Posted on 10/10/2008 7:16:23 PM PDT by Thickman
I apologize in advance for my ignorance. I could not find anyplace on the site that gives a primer on certain vocabulary and abbreviations used.
Specifically, I have no idea what "btt" means. I've picked up other franguage such as "hugh" and "series" but "btt" escapes me.
Thanks for the heads up.

Bttt - “Bump to the top.” If I respond to your post, that places the response at the top of my “comments” page, so I can find the thread easily later. It also puts a comment on the “latest comments” page of FR, which I can never find except when they’re futzing with the programming.
So it’s “Bump to the top” for me, or “Bump to the top” for everyone to see.

“Btt” means “Bump to the Top” At one time posting hits on a thread raised it in the side bar... “Hugh” and “Series” came about because of inadvertent mis-use for “Huge” and “Serious.”

I only know what I’ve been told. I’m not in the Inner Circle, though, and my FRiends try not to shock me, because I bake muffins and bless their hearts when I get upset.
