Just got back from my local Republican Party headquarters and they were discussing a rumor that Joe Biden was dropping out of the race. The speculation was that it was due to health.
Is this rumor circulating any where else?
yea he has that incurable disease, I think it is...um...plagiarism...lol either that or “HOOF in mouth” disease.

I agree, but I was news deprived today and it was the first I heard the rumor.
After doing a quick run down the side bars and a title search finding nothing I decided to put up a chat post to find out if this was a well circulating rumor or there was some bases to the rumor.
I heard a rumor today. “purple monkey dishwasher” (pass it on!)
My guess.. In order for the total support they demanded that Obama gives them the money for the Campaign debt.. I’m guess Obama said no.. Besides, Hillary does not want the VP.. She wants to be President.

This was a guess and a betting pool on FR two days after Palin was chosen I imagine the idea origianted here and the Dems are floating it.
I would say that Clinton’s statements about his wife not wanting the second fiddle will allow the Clintons to watch Obama twist in the wind.
Obama is proven not a citizen, Hillary moves up to run for POTUS.
I think it would be more plausible that Obama steps aside, Hillary is appointed to top spot, she picks Obama to be her VP.
If this kind of thing happens... it would make me think the whole thing was planned in 2007.
I have often suspected that the DNC contest was a scripted act from the very beginning. Accepting for a moment that this is true: Partly, it was good to attract tons of media attention and rouse up the DNC base. This would mean the whole thing was scripted like a movie. Every part of it, every speech, every outcome was completely worked in advance resulting in untold Million$ of dollars of free advertising, while nobody was writing anything about the uneventful crowning of McCain. Expected result: DNC Landslide in November.
The PALIN FACTOR. Again, playing the game that this thing was scripted... However: The appointment of Palin to the GOP ticket was completely off their carefully planned script. This was nothing they even prepared for and it totally disrupted the plan. Now the switch from Biden to Hillary almost seems anti-climatic and like a cheap political stunt. This was not the way it was supposed to happen.

We’re in trouble this November if this is what our local parties have their panties in a wad over.
Too late. A lot of voting is or will soon be taking place. Since they voted for Biden as VP, another name can’t be substituted so those ballots are now invalid.
One of the fascinating things about this so called rumor is how widespread it is.
I’ve heard from both Republicans and Democrats all across the country who have gotten emails or word of mouth about this scenario.
Everyone gets excited -for different reasons.
Democrats think a switch to Hillary would be great news and a game changer.
Republicans see this as Obama admitting he makes bad choices , which would also be great news and a game changer.
I’m sure Biden and his family have heard the same rumors.
Either way, it says a lot that so many, many people on the right and the left, have so little faith in Obama’s decision making capabilities.
