Afternoon, y’alls. I took Anoreth to school this morning so I could use the car for Girl Scoutly scurrying. We found gas on the way to Central Piedmont. Then I scuttled about dropping forms here and money there and buying Epsom Salts for a science experiment, and picked her up again at 11:30. Used up half the gas we bought, but I saw several stations selling gas with no lines, so maybe the supply crisis is over.

Errands plagued me this morning, as well, and by the time I got home, I had a bad case of the S L O W S.

I ate some leftovers and went to nap. Now I need to call my choir people and tell them to stay home, and then start supper.

My hair is bed-raggled, and the rest of me feels squeaky clean. The bed is trying to call me, but I’m ignoring it.

Anoreth’s going to get fried chicken at the Wal-mart, and DP, Bill, and Tom can eat the pork dish when they get home from Scouts. Maybe I’ll have an onion sandwich.
