America - The Right Way! (September 15 - 19, 2008)[Remember the WTC, the Pentagon & Flight 93]
Free Republic; variety of news sources, conservatives everywhere | 15 September, 2008 | Jemian and all Freepers

It is time to get things underway.

A very wet Texas is digging out from the damage left from Hurrican Ike. Ike is now over the northeast and is still a very wet storm. Best wishes and prayers to those in Ike's path. As far as I know, we are enjoying a reprieve from tropical storms at the moment.

The NYTs has put out at least 4 stories smearing Sarah Palin. Have they covered the Ayers-Obama relationship? Have they investigated as to whether Nobama is even eligible to run for President? I don't think so. In a non-related matter, stock in the NYTs is at an all-time lo.

Speaking of stock and financial problems, Lehman Brothers has declared bancruptcy and Merrill-Lynch is facing a probable buyout by Bank of America.

We cannot ignore the IRS problems that Rangel is having. Not reporting income from a vacation home seems to be tax-fraud. Is he still active in Congress? Is he a demoncRAT?

There is 49 days left until the national elections. We have some work to do.

Oh she is somewhat like a 2 yr old. She acts out her feelings. Today we’re trying to avoid her. Tomorrow will be a better day. Things are starting to be normal in her life again. :)

Thanks for asking.

oh Kassie!!! You all have been through so much! But, as Lysie says, 'us Texans are tough'!!! My niece, who lives in Katy, has been keeping me posted. I am keeping you all in my prayers!

What in the Hell is wrong with Bob Barr. I sent him an email telling him to back out now because he knows he can't win and is pulling votes from our Republican Ticket. So, now I am on his dang mailing list. He proudly sent this today.

BOB BARR FILES SUIT IN TEXAS TO REMOVE MCCAIN AND OBAMA FROM THE BALLOT.

"Suit alleges that McCain, Obama knowingly missed filing deadlines"

You are so sweet dear Kassie - Giving thanks through all of your trials. I just can’t imagine sleeping through a hurricane - that in itself was a blessing.

Good morning, Bev, and thanks for the computer story. I was so pleased to see that the supervisor’s supervisor or whoever she was, obviously a very seasoned techie, was up on it. I bought a DELL in the 90’s and back then, they were pretty much unbeatable. That was my last buy, as I started building my own and now have 3 desktop builds all running, doing their specialized tasks, and one laptop that I assembled from a kit. All of them have XP except the latest addition to the family, the laptop with Vista 64 bit home premium. Getting the hang of Vista.

If there was any way for the anti-capitalists (the libs) to trigger this credit bubble - they did it.

Why are there no screams for investigations?

Semi-rhetorical answer to a semi-rhetorical question: It would be like a criminal asking for an investigation for a crime he knew he committed and would otherwise get away with.

Good Morning. Today is the McCain/Palin rally in Cedar Rapids. We will be picking up 2 of the granddaughters up to take them along. The other little gd was home sick yesterday with a fever, so she isn’t going to get to go.

We are leaving here at 7:00, the door open at 8, so we will not be near the front, but I just didn’t want to get the girls up earlier to get there.

>>Listening to KGO and heard "Sarah Palin's favoribility rates have dropped 16 points in two days".

George Will has a "Palin bubble" column today.

Check this out from Dick Morris:

There appears to be a gap of between 10 and 20 points between how voters see the parties and what they think of the candidates. Between one-tenth and one-fifth of America’s voters feel that the Democratic Party would be the best for the country but like the McCain-Palin ticket better

Some people put their toilet paper rolls on the wrong way because their mom did the same thing. But they can live with it the other way.

Will has a point.
However, more Palin can’t hurt. She ignites!
