From what I can tell,you could be in for a bad storm too. Do be careful.
We’re fine. Every time I look at the TV our condition gets better. Now we’re only going to have 12 hours of 50 mph winds and 6-10 inches of rain. Much better than yesterday when they said 100 mph winds for 12-24 hours.
My heart cries for Galveston Island though. (sigh)

Hubby just said that whoever is running Nobama's campaign makes decisions (and invariably wrong) in a hurry, without fully doing the research. This is the way they would govern as well.

Can you imagine the Steve Schmidt advertisement that ought to come out tomorrow morning and play all weekend. If it were me, I would play all through the sports events. Most fans are patriots and do not like veterans insulted this way.
My friend in KY says the gas station in their area has raised the gas prices $2.00 today (right after they delivered gas to the station) Now, we all know the gas in that tanker was at the old price not the price after tomorrow when Ike hits. GREED is an ugly thing!
