Is the Obama campaign falling thru the floor? New poll numbers favor McCain/Palin.
Hurricane Ike crosses over Cuba heading for the GOM and another possible US landing.
Sarah Palin will sit down with ABC's Charles Gibson for a one on one interview this week.
The federal government has taken over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in an effort to stabilize the struggling housing market. That means you, me, all us taxpayers... have assumed the risk of this bailout...
And finally, the 7th anniversary of a horrendous day in our beloved country's history approaches..
Let's keep our country, our citizens, and that day's victims in our prayers this week.
Me too SCB, me too.
We are fortunate to be able to run our business as we travel about, with the assistance of satellite internet and cell phones.
Kassie, the area has had a LOT of rain this summer, the web worms are thick on the trees with web-nests extending far up the branches.
My prayers are continuing for you and D and especially for hubby and his crew.
One of the things I find is that the first six hours of a hurricane (usually a TD when they get to me) are OK and even thrilling at times. But they go on and on and on. I think the last one that came through here a couple of weeks ago went on for three or four days! We had more false tornado warnings at that time then I ever remember experiencing. It became tedious.
then = than
Sheesh!
kassie, I meant to ask how you are doing in anticipation of Ike? Any update on your hubby?
Thinking of you and your homeland. Prayers offered.
There ya' go. He's bitter, clinging to his lost hopes. Sorry RINO.
Rush will do this, now, maybe during the next hour.
No, he won’t credit you.
The McCain lead appears to be holding steady. Poll caveat here.
FYI: Al Qaeda's web sites have been taken down today. And that Special Ops raid last week was BIGGER than we imagined.
Details about last weeks commando operation have emerged that indicate the mission was more intrusive than had previously been known.
According to two American officials briefed on the raid, it involved more than two dozen members of the Navy Seals who spent several hours on the ground and killed about two dozen suspected Qaeda fighters in what now appeared to have been a planned attack against militants who had been conducting attacks against an American forward operating base across the border in Afghanistan.
Supported by an AC-130 gunship, the Special Operations forces were whisked away by helicopters after completing the mission.
24 Pissed off Navy Seals....with orders to get some.....and they did.
Till I know how much you are interested in the war news ...see 354.
OK,
now if it was reported that the number two guy in Paki was killed last week,
And Now it is reported that it was bigger than reported,
Could that mean... OBL?
What are you thinking?
Look at the length of time on the ground.....that tips you to how big this was...several hours on target...in very a hostile area.
Have the colors started to turn yet?
Thank you for your prayers. I’m still doing busy work. More than anything, I just don’t want to lose our power for a long period. :(
Oh I’d like my roof to remain intact too.
He’s heading home. I have called him and told him not to enter south Texas without gas in the tank. The stations are running out of fuel. I think he’ll be home sometime tomorrow morning.
