Thank you in advance. The company I work for allows gay/lesbians to gather and hold meetings re: workplace treatment, etc. This is PAID time at the company site. So they are allowed 2 hour blocks of time, paid..to NOT work while others (non-gay) must work. Is this legal? Any feedback will be very appreciated.
Just enjoy the two hours in the office without em.

Nothing of affirmative action is legal or right. In other words, the government and many businesses have given themselves the right to break the law.
Don’t try to fight it. If you’re not in a specially-privileged group, you will be called racist/sexist/homophobe.
IMHO, if it is a private business they can decide what their own employees may or may not do on company time.

There are worse things than having someone suspect you are gay...cause if you play your cards right you have solid job security! LOL...and don’t think that I’m joking!
Aside from finding a different job, there isn’t really much you can do here. Raise your voice and you will be out of a job faster than you can say “hater.”
This means that someone high on the food chain is a homosexual or lesbian.
Maybe we need a Freeper job board so that like minded people can reach maximum productivity together.

Check with your state. They’ll answer over the phone and allow you to file a complaint as well.
