Good morning!
The Dems' Crazy Convention gets underway. How much of it can you stand to watch? I need a volunteer to watch my share...let me think of some inticement for this huge sacrifice...
Fay - the Storm which Won't go Away - continues its tour of the South.
Are you old enough to remember when some judge in CA (I think that’s correct) ordered a young woman to have one of those norad (probably mispelled) birth control implants put in her arm to keep her from having any more children. She had four or five and they were all in foster care because she was abusing them.
What an outrage that started. You’d have thought that the judge had performed an abortion right in his courtroom. The Planned Parenthood people didn’t care for someone interferring with their territory.
I’ve had all I can take. Caroline Kennedy is lauding the family values and change for America that two men have wrought: Nobama and her uncle, The Swimmer. He certainly changed Mary Jo’s life, well, ended her life. I guess that’s a change.
I’ve switched to Murder 101. I like Dick Van Dyke so much better.
No, I don’t recall that. Were I a judge, I would proactively insist that any repeating abusive “mom” be fixed. I’d do it to a dog, and I’d do it to one of those.
BTW, Caroline Kennedy has no idea what her father was like. I remember JFK, and he was no Obama.
Unfortunately, you can't do that. I don't know if there is an actual law against it, but I can remember that there was a judge somewhere in the South (maybe Texas) who tried to force a woman to be sterilized and the stuff hit the fan. It was a long time ago and I can't remember the actual outcome, but it wasn't pretty.
BTW, I also remember JFK. I thought he was the absolute end, that he had and knew everything. I think I had a huge crush on him, but I did think he was right in marrying Jackie. I was all for him getting the nomination and stayed up until all hours to make sure he got it.
Then he made the fatal mistake and I couldn't even bear to hear him speak. During, or shortly after, his acceptance speech, he made the mistake of saying that he would bring American back to its rightful place - Number One! That was it for me. Anyone who wanted to be president and didn't think that this was the premiere, number one nation in the world surely didn't deserve that honor.
P.S. I was never a demonrat, just impressionable at that time!
I watched the Charger/Seahawk game and since I am a Charger fan, I am celebrating.
During a commercial, I flipped over to FNC just in time to see Obama stumbling over his words about where he was..."the Gerardo family" and hearing his little girl say "hello Gerardo family" and the audience was all a twitter.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! The American people will surely not buy into this junior high school presentation!!!!
These people are the village idiots!!!!!
I think most of teen-age America had a crush on JFK. And Jackie. They truly were a gorgeous couple.
I was 16-17 at the time, so was a-political, but my fam was Democrat - working-class middle-America.
Reagan was the catalyst for me - to join with the Republicans. Up until then, I didn’t give it much thought.
Sounds like the people she bought the place from didn’t tell her anything or she didn’t listen.
There’s nothing better’n a flat head of hear. LOL>LOL
Kurt, pussy pelosi is all knowing....she should advise the Pope on birthing and the beginning of such.
In 1965 Sen. Ted Kennedy sponsored a bill whereby women and men could be steralized in instances like this and the people who were badly intellectualy challenged. Since that time we’ve seen some pretty bad things happen to infants, small children and the elderly. PC folks...PC.
I think you have a better picture. YUMMY.
Don’t you have to carry the “automatic stuff” to the garbage can?
Oh me.....Ted Kennedy sponsored a bill whereby women and ment could be steralized....SHOULD READ...COULD NOT be steralized (it would jeprodize their civil rights). We see the results.
Sleep Well, All. Till tomorrow.
I wonder if those snipers arrested in Denver are part of the show? If we never hear anything about them again - they were.
Why weave in traffic attracting attention of police (with a rental full of guns)?
Something is fishy.
Good Morning tR.
Today I start the packing process. I depart on Thursday morning for the Convention. It’s a good thing I’m driving. The airlines would charge me an extra $100 for all the stuff I’m taking with me.
I really LOVE the luxury of driving to where I’m going. I spent so many years confined to airline travel. Now that I have TIME, I swear I will drive everywhere.
Rav, that is a strong possiblity.
Safe travels, IG. I'm sure Raven agrees with your willingness to avoid air travel!
jtill, yes, Stone Cold. I'd love to see the other episodes.
