Good morning!
The Dems' Crazy Convention gets underway. How much of it can you stand to watch? I need a volunteer to watch my share...let me think of some inticement for this huge sacrifice...
Fay - the Storm which Won't go Away - continues its tour of the South.
Are you okay with that? Did you have back pain with the kidney infection?
Yes and yes.
I don’t feel better but the lab numbers are all normal. I’m trusting the machines in this case. But I’m not doing nothing at home neither.
I did have back pain but lower than what I expected kidney infection to be. I had more of a pain where my appendix is.
I’m getting off the net now. I may be back on later. Or not. It all depends on how I feel.
I'm taking a break from politics on TV and I'm watching Coach on WGN!
woo hoo!
I remain pretty excited about Palin, especially after taking in the Obama response. WOW, are they ever nervous, and gaffe prone over there.
Maria "The Babe" played her interview with Palin on CNBC which she conducted just at the beginning of the week up in AK. What timing! Palin IS talkative, but she doesn't stumble, and she has to get up to speed on defense/ foreign affairs. She can do it!
I just wonder...she's been to the Mideast and the War Zone...
I bet she made it there BEFORE ZeroMan!! Maybe someone will check this out....
Hi Snarlin. Nice to be here when you are...What a week...now I have to keep an eye on Gustav, having lived on the Gulfcoast with family still there.
OH! Does anyone know what the deal is with Cindy McCain’s arm...her left, I think....some kind of bandage...
An overly enthusiastic handshake from a man at a campaign stop.
Oh! It must have wrenched the arm, then, cause the cast/ support bandage isn’t on the hand or wrist. Thanks!
Hi Molly - I took the day off today and have enjoyed it so much. Then the traffic finally died down on the FR server, and I could join the par-tee! The Sarah P par-tee! Whoo hoo!
(I wonder how Toby is? I didn’t see a post today)

Do you suppose Muhammed Malik Shabazz is his spokesperson? He’s one nasty son-of-a-gun.
I expect to be doing this until Monday evening.
Let's cram an initial design spec into a long weekend.
I mean, with wireless, I can carry the laptop into the kitchen and other rooms that I need to occasionally see.
It's a job.

G00d luck and good nite, johnny. Have fun.
Nite all.

Since I've got a church next door, folks sometimes pull to the curb when a coffin is on the street, out of respect.
We win either way, we get a sermon, or they give us some of their beer.
Tonight, though..... is all about void areas in sand aggregates and physics and geometry that Excel can handle.
I REALLY, REALLY, want a beer.
No more cubic feet to cubic meters.....
Tuesday, I go nutz.
/johnny
Nonsense. NOTHING is better than coffin races and drinking beer, n'est-ce pas?
Ev has recovered from both AT and his cold and in fact is on a camping trip. Hubby is doing great; feels better than he did before the procedure, less tired, more energy, etc. I went to the Packer game last night with a friend; will also go to the first regular season game. Life, for the moment, is good.
I think it is deeper than that...I think they see the future of the conservative movement.....this one selection has managed to move so many people on so many levels.
Question for the group today.
When was the last time a VP pick generated this kind of reaction.........and I'm not just talking about people like us.....go spend a few minutes over on the Hillary Clinton forums......they love this pick.
