Good morning!
The Dems' Crazy Convention gets underway. How much of it can you stand to watch? I need a volunteer to watch my share...let me think of some inticement for this huge sacrifice...
Fay - the Storm which Won't go Away - continues its tour of the South.
All I had to see last night was x42’s bony finger shaking at us and I felt sick. We endured eight years of that. Miss Marple, I always remember your story about the funeral.
I didn’t see the speech, I have just happened across some icky pictures. And the temple/White House theme for tonight. I heard some Republicans are calling the stage for Nobama’s speech tonight “Temple of Doom.” Off to work now.
All eyes south here, Gustav, where is it going, better yet to us, where is it coming. We go to town today to get our 50 gallons of gas and deisel fuel as well to fill the tractor in case we have to drag thing away. Yep, we are staying but just hoping that it just dies out at sea, not much chance of that happening but we can wish anyhow.
You know, I sit here in the mornings reading the threads and have come to the conclusion that here are found the best of the best, the caring of the caring all from the best hearts in the whole wide world, what a honor it is to be able to chat with ‘youse guys’.
Drank to much coffee this morning, got up to early as well and look over the yard and see all the things I have to tie down before the storm but that will wait until after we to Sam's, take the religious books and Bibles to the jail and we did have a lot given by the members of our church, even some Spanish bibles. I am still hoping that ya’ll get involved with your church and donate same to the jails.
All have a good day, a safe one, a happy one and when your loved one walks into your day this afternoon, be thankful for who you still have and show them your love.

Health update: NOT appendicitis. No surgery today. We’ll check with the urologist, but the surgeon said he felt that antibiotics could clear this up.
Sure hope the doc is right that antibiotics can clear this up, Jem.

You did have your work cut out for you, being gone for so long. I know you’ll be happy when this “tour” is over and you can live a more normal life. You have done a great job for Iowa. I know they appreciate all you’re done.

lysie, you finally fixed one of Toby’s breakfasts. Looks good. We may have that this AM. But gotta make coffee first. I didn’t re-awaken until 0745. I woke up about 0100, began to read, and fell asleep somewhere around 0600. I woke up with the book on my chest.
The “recanting” of the convention is continuing. Roomey is watching...he has a strong stomach.
These guys may have been “plants” to make it appear they were threatening nobama, so his extra SS details plus dogs have some validity.

Are you on antibiotics for the kidney infection, so they can remove the appendics? You have had a time with all these things going on in your system. Take care.
