Too Much Volleyball, Not Enough Olympics

I tried to watch the Olympics but am I the only one that is sick of Beach Volleyball? This makes four nights now that they have shown the same women's duo and I know more about them than all other athletes (except Phelps). I give up and I guess politics is not the only thing NBC can ruin.

First, keep in mind that, when it's 7:00 pm here, it's 7:00 am in China. NBC (not unreasonably) prefer to broadcast LIVE sports, and, at that hour, the ladies' marathon was the only game in town.

Second, I for one thought that it was simply straight cool that the Romanian gal stole the race while the others were diddling around in the pack. No guts, no glory -- GUTS? Glory! And good on her!

I had to resort to watching the video clips on MSN.Com of the sports that I liked but hardly promoted: Shooting, Fencing, Equestrian. Did anyone watch those events? Fencing is fascinating, I took it in High School and it was mentally and physically tough./Just Asking - seoul62.....
