New York, NY (CNS) - Singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow will be releasing her own very "Americana" line of denim jeans and shirts in Dillard's department stores on August 15.
The multi-Grammy Award winning artist's clothing line, Bootheel Trading Company, is inspired by western and vintage style. The jeans are designed to be eco-friendly, using only fair-trade cotton and denim.
Crow has partnered with Western Glove Works for the affordable fashion line. The most expensive jeans is retailed at $69, and the shirts start at $29.
The complete Fall '08 collection will be available nationwide at Dillard's branches and some boutique stores on August 15.
It’s sort of like ‘aerobic exercise’. You’ve never heard of ‘anaerobic exercise’ (exercise w/o using oxygen? How’s that go again?), either.
Is this the “one square of toilet paper” woman?
That’s her, Miss one-Square herself.
I wonder if these jeans will come pre-skid-marked?
Perfectly stated.
But she’d better not catch any of the rest of us earning any money and squandering it on full rolls of toilet paper, LOL!
Lee-brand jeans fit me like a glove. I’m stickin’ with what works and flatters my @ss, LOL!
I’ll never be a tall, skinny girl. Sheryl will will just have to deal with it. :)
It’ll be amusing to watch her come to the realization of how small her client base truly is. However, by that time, she’ll have cashed all of the checks... ;)
‘Anaerobic exercise’ refers to weight-lifting types of exercise.
Rather difficult to lift weights (or do any other exercise, ftm) w/o oxygen, true?
Rather like the usage of the adjective 'massive' as a synonym for 'enormous' -- the usage is simply wrong, no matter how common it may have become, esp. among ''journalists''.
My 16 y/o daughter has a subscription to a series of country music shows at Nissan Pavilion. She goes with my d/i/l, who was out of town for the Brad Paisley / Jewel show a few weeks back.
Being a guitar player who likes a bit of twang (a tele player), I took her to the show. Paisley is a way above average guitar player, and did not ruin his show with showmanship. He sang and played.
But, Jewel as a country act?!?!? What a farce. Hey Jewel, you’re no Taylor Swift, even though it’s pretty clear that’s what you’re going for.
Jewel did a couple of duets with Merle ... Siver Wings and That’s the Way Love Goes....
Beautiful.. but that doesn’t make an Alaskan native who last tried to be Gwen Steffani.
She should have stuck to folk music.
