New York, NY (CNS) - Singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow will be releasing her own very "Americana" line of denim jeans and shirts in Dillard's department stores on August 15.
The multi-Grammy Award winning artist's clothing line, Bootheel Trading Company, is inspired by western and vintage style. The jeans are designed to be eco-friendly, using only fair-trade cotton and denim.
Crow has partnered with Western Glove Works for the affordable fashion line. The most expensive jeans is retailed at $69, and the shirts start at $29.
The complete Fall '08 collection will be available nationwide at Dillard's branches and some boutique stores on August 15.
What a raving hypocrite. Doesn't Sheryl know that cotton crops use the most chemicals per square inch during production? And she's worried about toilet paper?
Get on this, Freepers. Discredit this moron.
*Where are these clothes manufactured?
*What does it cost to use "free-trade cotton" and if you can still sell a pair of jeans for $69, just WHO is taking the loss? (Hint: It ain't Sheryl!)
*Why isn't she using American Cotton in these jeans and shirts?
*What is the cost of sending the goods overseas for manufacture, versus having Americans make these clothes here in the USA?
Enquiring minds want to know! ;)
I won’t be wearing her name on my a$$!
Lance dropped her and went back to riding his bike because his bike had fewer miles on it ...
Country Music!!
May God forgive our souls for reject true country music for this crap.
For real country, please check out Jamey Johnson.
All of mine say Cowboy cut 31X31 and some guy named Wrangler. Tractor Supply $29.00.
I like Sheryl Crow. She made some great hits in the 90s.
Crow’s nutty but those are cool looking jeans IMO.
How about some truth in advertising?
Yummy, can't wait.........
I can’t seem to keep my socialist, anti-American idiots-who-can-sing straight.
Is she the preachy ditz who wants to wipe our a$$ with a single square of single-ply toilet paper?
I do almost everything in jeans, except sleep"
I really don’t like the low rise/waist jeans...at all. Very, very few women look ‘right’ in them. You get that ‘muffin’ top happening...it just is not flattering. I’ll be glad when they go the way of shoulder pads and ponchos...

What’s that upside down triangle in the crotch? Subliminal?
She looked like a heroin junkie on her first albums. Long hair, skinny, gaunt, icky.
Maybe the ditzi chicks will buy some. Not my women.
Sheryl Crow has apparently decided to jump on the bandwagon of rock stars pretending to be fashion designers, teaming up with Western Glove Works (the same guys who manufacture Posh’s dVb jeans).
Her line will be called “Bootheel Trading Co. by Sheryl Crow,” and will consist of mostly denim-based apparel: t-shirts, jeans, organic cotton this, fair trade that, etc.
A friend told Star magazine that “She’s heading to Australia in October to meet with her partners and start production.”
