My Dragonfly And Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Computer Joke - If Operating Systems Were Airlines
DOS Air: Passengers walk out onto the runway; grab hold of the plane,
push it until it gets in the air, hop on, then jump off when it hits
the ground. They grab the plane again, push it back into the air, hop
on, jump off...
Mac Airways: The cashiers, flight attendants, and pilots all look the
same, talk the same, and act the same. When you ask them questions
about the flight, they reply that you don't want to know, don't need
to know, and would you please return to your seat and watch the movie.
Windows Airlines: The terminal is neat and clean, the attendants
courteous, the pilots capable. The fleet of Lear jets the carrier
operates is immense. Your jet takes off without a hitch, pushes above
the clouds and, at 20,000 feet, explodes without warning.
OS/2 Skyways: The terminal is almost empty - only a few prospective
passengers mill about. The announcer says that a flight has just
departed, although no planes appear to be on the runway. Airline
personnel apologize profusely to customers in hushed voices, pointing
from time to time to the sleek, powerful jets outside. They tell each
passenger how great the flight will be on these new jets and how much
safer it will be than Windows Airlines, but they will have to wait a
little longer for the technicians to finish the flight systems. Maybe
until mid-2010. Maybe longer

You got that right! China ‘really observes’ the Olympic ideals alright, (but only in a socialist mind)

The Olympic mindset has about as much place in China as a cat in the city dog pound, and both will end up shredded!

"The depth of this piece is amazing. The images youve painted are both light and airy, but deep, dark and mysterious." I should be able to explain everything just as soon as I finish reading all the analysis of it. Maybe then I'll know what I was talking about.
Hint: It has to do with "String Theory".

I’ve discovered it’s more difficult to describe an active image. That one was really complicated.
It was a concept that had haunted me a bit. I wasn’t sure how to compress it into the warp and woof of a poem.
I started, of course, with the first line.

Our soul doesnt enter when we do,
From birth canals we call alive,
It falls, while we think were rising,
At the end of the trip it arrives.
And thats when the puppet stops moving,
Having joined with its shadow below,
The delicate dance of descending,
Has made for a marvelous show.
I especially love these last 2 stanzas. However, the entire poem is filed with such lovely images, suspended in space by the string. The angel references are truly gorgeous. Well, if I were to give a grade on this work, it would be 100% -it is terrific.
