One more thing we have in common. :) I like Gary Morris! Do you have the album with “Again”, “I’d Be The First to Fall in Love Again”, “I Can Feel the Fire Going Out” - that one has “Wind Beneath my Wings” on it. :)
This is just lovely, grannie!
Liked your pictures and remarks. Biden is a wind bag and always has been. I watched that video....if he doesn’t watch out he is going to have another anuerysm. That man is like a madman.
Wow...that is a stunner, and such a great poem to go with it. Love it!
Thank you, grannie. Have so much fun working on the opening graphics for Amy's Place - appreciate the compliment and see that you enjoy being creative, too. I spend way too much time playing around in my graphics software, but it's not nearly as messy as getting out the easel, brushes and oils - and every bit as satisfying. :)
That picture is so lovely, grannie. You do have a lot of talent.
Oh Billie, I still miss smooshing those oils around. I don't have a safe place to paint now and I want to so badly. I was never very good at it, but I loved mixing the colors and starting early in the morning before the kids got up.
I have to get my aggression out with software now, sigh. When my neck and mouse arm go, I sew for awhile until my back gives out, lol.
I made up one with some horses in it. :) It’s not great but I’ll try and post it tomorrow.
I just made a few more horses today, so will have to work on something for them.
My only other one is called...
Amy, is that just a regular size cake pan? My mouth is watering for that Sponge Cake.
The recipe did not state; I would probably use an 8 inch round pan or an oblong ... 13in.
That recipe sounded good to me and it looked easy.
Hi Majie.
I’ve also added you to my ping list.
Looking forward to you joining our little group.
I think you should make a Welcome Group with the Hug Your Sweetheart picture.
I think that pic is so cute. I’m sure I would find a use for it someday.
LOL
At least by posting them yourself, you won’t forget to acknowledge the author. :)
Thanks for that funny poem. I can’t believe that it is 4 years old. Must be time to write a couple of new ones.
hint, hint
Here is a better photo I found on the internet...
Then the dogs came charging out to see what was so interesting in the back yard and scared the Black Phoebe off. The Jays have no fear of the dogs and stayed around for another peanut. I hope my Phoebe returns.
Have a nice weekend, y'all. :-)
That’s great! I have never seen one...and we don’t even get
bluejays!
Sparrows and grackles. Ugh!
How exciting.
We get a yellow bird once or twice in the spring. I can never get its picture.
I love the new birds .... mostly we get sparrows, mocking birds, crows and the patio finches. Once in a while we see a Robin or a Jay.
LOL. We don’t have very interesting birds either. Basically; scrub jays, mockingbirds, blackbirds and an occasional goldfinch and redtailed hawk...and hummingbirds, of course. That’s why I get so excited when I see a different type of bird I’ve never seen before.
((((Thank You All... Dear Ladies,All!!!!))))
Hi, Maj! Be looking for snail mail to be arriving soon. Glad to know you are in your new place. I look forward to having you back on FR. :-)
